This was my first time signing up for a beginners aerial silks class and I was pretty excited for it. Unfortunately my experience wasn’t as fun as I had imagined.- The instructor/owner of the company, Karen, was very impatient, stern and expected us to learn at a very fast pace. Her frustration was evident in her tone when I would make mistakes/ask questions which was more berating than encouraging. It felt more like a boot camp than a fun introductory class.- Expect to share a silk with another person. There were 9 people enrolled including the instructor and 6 silks. If you arrive early, you won’t have to share. If not, you’ll have to share 1 silk with a friend/stranger and you would only be getting half the time you expected and paid for.- This wasn’t an issue for me but something to be aware of. It says you have a 10 minute grace period once the session has started but really if you’re late and not able to participate in the warm up, you will be asked to leave. They will also keep your initial payment for the session and an additional $25 fee. I understand keeping the fee for that slot but why charge damages on top?Overall, my experience was not good with this company and I hope the service gets better. I honestly wouldn’t recommend this instructor for beginners but I had purchased the new student package (which includes 2 more sessions I paid for) but I will ensure that it won’t be with the same instructor.Update: in response to whomever responded to my review. I did not state that I had an enjoyable experience after class. I clearly remember just saying thank you as she opened the door and leaving. I’m not sure who you are referring to, it may have been the other girls attending class. But it was not me.

I took the bungee workout class through Vertical Fitness Dallas at Rogue gym. Let me just tell you ladies, this class is legit! The gymnasium is absolutely stunning. Karen Palmer, the instructor, and I think owner, is so professional and such a good instructor. And her assistant Carla was fantastic as well. I have been very ill for a little over 10 years due to epilepsy and a severe accident which has resulted in multiple surgeries. Two weeks ago I was released to work out. Other than three light yoga classes, this was my first intense cardio workout. I have never had so much fun in my entire life. It didn’t even feel like a work out I was having so much fun. My lumbar, thoracic, and cervical spine and hip girdles were severely injured which resulted in issues with core activation, lifting my legs on my own, and a multitude of other issues. At one point my pain was so bad that I was bed ridden and my husband had to lift me out of bed just to assist me with sitting up on my own. He even had to help me walk for years. I was hesitant to try this class because I thought it may be too much for me. Wrong! It took the pressure off my core and actually assisted with supporting my core and hips so that I could activate those muscles on my own with less pain. Yes, I was completely exhausted and ready to pass out. But the joy I felt in the air of basically flying was something I’ve never felt, ever! I heard myself giggling as I was gliding around, and it was amazing to fill muscles activate that I hadn’t used in a while. I can only imagine how powerful and strong I am going to be four weeks from now. I cannot wait to take this class again. If anyone is looking for a class that is fantastically fun with knowledgeable instructors and a great satisfying work out, this is it! You never know what you are made of until you try!

This is for the POLE classes so, if you're looking for aerial or something else, please keep that in mind as I can't comment on those: Great studio, great instructor (Karen). I've taken beginner classes at a couple of other studios and this is the one I'll be coming back to! The room is spacious and has mirrors all around so you can see yourself. Some other places I've tried only have the mirror at the front of the room, so if you're behind someone, you can't quite see what you're doing. Also, Karen is wonderful at demonstrating and explaining proper technique. She wants you to have a good foundational understanding of what you're doing so that you're set up to succeed and progress, if you choose to keep going. There is an excellent warmup and conditioning tips, too, so that you're not just throwing yourself at the pole and then hurting later because that's all you did for the whole hour (without fully understanding the technique). And everyone was so friendly and supportive! I will definitely be back!

DO NOT go here!! My sister payed for a class and was late because she could not find the place, and called but no one would answer. When she walked in the room the lady yelled and pushed her out of the door. They did not refund her and charged an extra fee of $25 on top of the class she paid for that she did not even attend. There were only TWO other people in the class. VERY unprofessional and informing everyone I know to NOT go here.
