Everything is super old. Not clean... there is equipment there so I guess you can get a workout in. The environmental isn't the greatest and pretty dirty compared to the other 24s...

Gym Etiquette does not apply to the male employees here. No People Relation Skill,Bringing their Egos everywhere they go. There is a big chubby white guy, employed at this location. You know, trying to keep his mug on mean, keep a menacing look. I find it funny, but he’s one of the usuals, the grunters, slamming weights and crossing your path, only to make sure you could see how much weight they are pushing or lifting. A gym goer off duty, is expected. But an employee presenting this type of behavior is sad.

Wooow I’m surprised how many 1 star reviews are there now.And it feels like my review is just a drop in the ocean. My concern is probably mild in compare to many of those one star reviews. So I’ll make it 2 stars. We met Jamie today (male white administrator 12.26.2021 at 7:10pm)My friend asked for a mask because he forgot one at home, and it was never an issue before, I forgot it twice and he did not bring it couple times before and administrators were always happy to help and give one to us. This time Jamie said it will be $1.10, awesome.. we said it was not the case before, he said it was a courtesy(we’ve never seen him before) and I’m sure if it was any other person there they’d be fine with giving us a mask and at least saying next time (for your reference, fyi - it is $1.10) but he made it such a big deal even though we said sorry we didn’t know and next time we will definitely bring masks knowing that it would cost us money. So here is a review with 2 stars for $1.10 for your business.I’m super easy client to deal with and communicate, I appreciate nice approach and follow rules when they are explained. But when there is no communication I’m not going to be happy.Say thanks to Jamie for this one and hope you guys will start taking care of people and improve politeness a little. Also you promised to fix spa at least two weeks ago(dec 10-15) now it is dec 26, nothing is being done with it and some days it felt like water there grows mold and is not even safe to breathe air near it.That water is barely changed. You should have at least dry the spa pool until it gets fixed and used again.

They gym itself has outdated machines and needs some slight work, but employees clean regularly and are usually busy doing something so no complaints on them, this complaint is simply because my locker was opened and my credit cards robbed at this location in the locker room. Cannot believe you cant even workout in peace anymore without someone trying to rob you. I wrote a witness statement with the front desk representative but there wasn’t really anything else i could do. Perhaps possibly maybe improve the lockers some way ? Or have more areas where one can leave bag near the pool so they wont have to stow in locker, definitely very disappointed seeing as i am a member for only 3 weeks. My rating is based on my experience, the machines could use a revamp.

I’ve been to almost a dozen 24 Hour Fitness locations in California, and this might be the worst. It’s a decent company, but they should move to a different building in the area. The strength training equipment is divided between two floors, and some of the machines/racks are squished too close to each other. A lot of the equipment is either old or dirty. The men’s locker room is designed poorly. The list of problems goes on.

Got here at 6:30 pm on a Wednesday and it was fairly busy downstairs. There was one middle aged Asian woman that wasn’t masked up and working out in close proximity to everyone downstairs and upstairs. Not sure why staff didn’t ask her to mask up or get out.

Great equipment, in the Walnut Creek 24 Hour Fitness. Staff and members are koo. I went to high school in Walnut Creek, so feels like home. I can't wait until the hoop gym opens up.Peace

They have most everything one would need and a very affordable price. A diverse clientele makes 24 feel very welcoming to me. There is a wide age group from teens to elders and a wide range of ethnicities. I like 24 because it feels like the people's gym due to hitting the right price point, number of locations, and functionality.

Almost no free weights. There is a barbell and some plates, but no rack. Pretty much an oversized hotel gym
