Planet Fitness

The main issue with this gym is the rows of treadmills and exercise bikes that barely anyone uses. About 30% of the gym is occupied by these machines sitting empty, but there are only three smith machines which have been full for the duration of all my visits to the gym since I joined a month ago. Just doesn’t seem to be a good use of an already small space.Additionally, one of the leg curl machines has been broken since I joined, and today one of the leg press machines was having issues. It makes it hard to get a good leg workout unless you’re strong enough to use free weights, and I’m not quite there yet. Otherwise, the gym is fine.Edit response to PF: this is a forum for public reviews. If anything changes in the gym I’ll happily amend my review.

My Fitness Trainer Courtney is so phenomenal she is currently helping me gain my strengths and she also a great listener because since day one I told her my concerns which I totally forgot about which Courtney did not and she have been helping me reach my goals of concerns. I’m absolutely so Thankful for Courtney as my Fitness Trainer at Planet fitness she cares, she patience, she is knowledgeable of fitness, She is Time management, she motivates you and she going to make sure she help you reach your fitness goal to success‼️💪🏾🥰

I’m obsessed with this place, mostly because of their new tanning bed, standing tanning beds, hybrid tan bed and red light beds ❤️‍🔥Without mentioning their massages beds, hydro beds and more!It’s so worth it to be a black card member for just $29 a month (with a full gym included) 🤩The best part is that I can use any planet fitness around United States 🇺🇸Place is super clean, friendly staff.OMG and they are 24h 😎

After being a member of Planet for almost a decade, I hate to leave a 1 star review. Monday opens at 5am there were several (around 15people) waiting outside to open. I asked the employee Ryan if he'd open a little early as did several other members. Ryan did open early and later that day I received a call from the manager stating to me of the hours etc and my wrong doing of asking. NO ONE ELSE was called and scolded as I was by the manager. This AM I noticed Ryan leaving a workout and I asked him if he really had am issue in regards to my request as I was quite appalled to have been complained about. His response was combative and stated"Are you threatening me?" How is a question a threat, I'm still confused. I attempted to explain to this newer employee that we are a community that trains together. He then aggressively spoke and said he was cancelliny membership. Is this how Planet fitness treats it's customers? I have never in a gym, in fact in my life have been treated to feel less than and combative for asking a question. When asking him his name after my workout, I asked his name and he initially refused as I told him I feel as if I've been unjustly profiled, and needed to speak to his manager. He called his manager and again only allowed to give his version of the issues. Completely unprofessional the manager not wanting to communicate with me or Ryan not allowing. Is this how we treat customers whom are at Planet fitness every day? Ryan is rude, unprofessional, has zero customer service skills. I will also contact the manager as he's only received one side of the story and there are multiple witnesses that corroborate what has occurred. And also the unprofessional combative behavior of Ryan. Planet Fitness should stand by it's members of the community, not attempt to make the feel uncomfortable and not wanted. Judgement Free Zone? I think not.

I decided to take my fitness journey alot more serious so I made a choice between one day or....... "DAY ONE" and here I am at planet fitness Davie location. It's been a month now and the (Trainer Courtney) has been assisting me along my journey and I must say she has been exceptionally tremendous as it pertains to proper professionalism and work ethics which has boosted my level of dedication, persistency and consistency to the max.

I wasn’t a waking up going to the gym type of person until I met Courtney, fitness coach at Planet Fitness Davie. I’m used to just walking, but gym, no. Now I look forward to spending a part of my day with my favorite motivator Courtney. She always greets me with a smile that brightens my day. She’s courageous and patient with me. When my workout sessions are over I feel energized and ready to take on the challenges of the day.

OMG, I absolutely love this Planet Fitness precisely because of the trainer Courtney, she was so exceptional, literally said I’ll be going for the amenities and ended up getting a full on experience with the workout machines, and proper workout postures that’s useful if you plan on working out consistently. Her class was amazing!! An actual trainer who knows her stuff! Love it can’t wait to see results thank you Courtney for your amazing customer service and patience highly recommended!
