Crunch Fitness - Dearborn

Wanted to find a new gym home went and used a day past. Storey was helpful in some ways. The only problem I have with this gym is the cleanliness I went at 7 in the morning and the lockers rooms smelled like complete cigarette smoke. The treadmill has old gunk in the cup holders and at the bottom of the treadmill. Bits of trash on the floor. Equipment everywhere it’s like there was not organization in the gym. I understand things can get messy during peak hours but 7 in the morning when barley people are there is the time to clean and tidy up the place. At Planet fitness their employees are constantly cleaning and organizing to make your workout smoother. I wish my experience was better because I was really looking forward to joining this gym. Hopefully this gym can take my advice and make things better for the next person looking for a gym home

This location is not clean. I know staff cannot control what people do with paper products and water bottles but for no reason should they just be laying on the floor and elsewhere. I am speaking on the men's locker room. The walls, base, floors and lockers appear to have ever been cleaned. Entire locker room needs a hose down.

I tried to cancel my membership in may, a manager wasn’t there ( why a manger is the only person who can cancel one is apart of there tactic to prolong charging you) and every time I went to ask for one he wasn’t there. They froze my account for that reason and today they charged me the annual fee. I went to get it refunded and they denied it basically implying that I’m a lier that the manager is “ always there” and that I needed to provide documentation that I tried previously and he wasn’t there (which is why the staff froze my account ). They asked me who froze it and I pointed to the guy that I’m pretty sure did and he acted suprised. It’s not the customers job to document interactions it’s the staffs!

The staff are cool. This gym is not clean. What I can appreciate about Planet Fitness is that they clean the gym and equipment often. This gym hasn’t been deep cleaned or cleaned well in months it seems. I just started my membership here and plan on going to another location because of this

The best gym I've used so far and I've used many. Best price for what you get, hard working and kind employees, a manager is almost always there, dry sauna in each locker room, tanning, spray tanning, yoga room, cycling classes, personal trainers (extra charges after the first session), and allll the most up-to-date equipment you could ask for. There are even multiples of everything so that you almost never have to wait.There is a bit of a litter issue in the front of the building and parking lot but the employees and some of the people that work out there (me) work hard to keep it clean.The water fountains also have a weak stream but they promised me they'll fix it and gave me a reusable water bottle so that I could use the water bottle refill instead, so I'm not too worried about it but it definitely has to be fixed.The personal trainer that gave me my free session was AMAZING and a sweet person, I think her name is Zahria but I'm not 100% sure if I spelled that right. She gave me soo much valuable information and I hope to have more sessions with her when I get a big kid job.So all in all, crunch gets a 10/10 from me. It's busy, it's loud, it's motivating, it's chill, sometimes I come to just stretch, decompress, and leave. If you end up getting a membership ($29.99 a month with a $60 yearly fee) because of this review, tell them Alia Seblini recommended you and maybe if enough business is generated from this they'll cover my next personal training session LMAO hope this helped you decide :]

The franchise owner Mr A Mourani should critically analyze the culture and standards of his facilities ASAP . The environment screams “ we are DIRTY, LAZY , and UNORGANIZED! “ and we don’t care ! :) the management / franchise owner needs to ENFORCE. A standard of cleanliness and proper gym etiquette . These “members” obviously are used to dirty , trifling environments( home /car) , however this is a business facility . Simple etiquette goes a LONG way! if your use a plate weight , rerack it! If you leave YOUR sweat on the bench , - wipe it OFF! Who in the hell throws , trash water bottles , paper towels on the floor? And leaves it there ? The gym floor is a giant trash can! I thought THE WESTLAND location was dirty until I seen DEARBORN ! ! DAYYUMN! Farmington hills is the best ! A++ however , Taylor ,Westland and Dearborn needs serious improvement !!!! , Mr Mourani tell your staff /management , and maybe you need to do a visit YOURSELF !( It’s your name and reputation ) simple solutions . Emphasize to your members : Clean up after yourself ! , rerack your weights , use the dayum trash can !!!!!!!

First off, want to thank Muj for signing me and my wife up! He’s a great worker there and really set the tone for us to sign up. He always is walking around, cleaning, making sure equipment is working! He especially is good at keeping it a nice environment for everyone to accomplish their exercise goals.In terms of the facility, it’s very spacious and has everything you need. Like any gym, there are busy hours (3-7pm), and busier times like summer. Regardless, I find crunch and it’s staff to both be great!

Great, organized and clean gym! I have been coming here for almost a year. Muj signed us up and was an amazing help - he explained everything and made the sign up process really simple. He was respectful, kind, and he works very hard to keep the gym up and running. All the other crunch staff are wonderful as well. Thank you guys!

I had a personal trainer idk what happened but no longer there I was not notified by the gym that he was not there anymore but they charged me for the servicesim not getting.. I was told I was going to get a refund and it's been 1 month or so and nothing has been refunded to my account now I don't have transportation to go up there and fix this problem the biggest mistake I have made should have stayed at planet fitness
