I am a proud member of PF my home gym is New Smyrna Beach and I enjoy the Black Member so this allows me to enjoy PF whenere I travel. However the PF in Daytona I will not trust leaving or taking anything of value there eg my Ray Band sunglasses as I have done in the past at many pf being something like your car keys so easily carried n forgot. 2hrs at this gym n my Ray Bans were gone even tho I re traced my step minutes before leaving this gym and Reported it.

I was at this gym for many years as they cycled through management and employees the morale diminished. It’s trash now, and a very lack luster staff, they don’t follow through and im very saddened to leave this gym as I’ve seen great results. I was treated poorly today by a front desk of staffers doing absolutely nothing! I’m glad to be at crunch now.

I'm not impressed with the staff. The bathrooms are constantly dirty as the people that work here are playing on their phone. There was a girl sitting on the floor behind the desk and I asked for the manager or preferably the owner to call me or reach out to me through email but have not heard from either. Kinda sad but I go to New Smyrna Beach or Orange City to shower most of the time because their bathrooms are so much cleaner. There are APROX 50 of us that drive through Daytona Beach that will be changing our home PLANET FITNESS because the property owner no longer allows over night parking in the parking lot. Several of us are changing our home PLANET FITNESS to Palatka. And others are going to Orange City. It's a shame this punk kid that bought the property changed the rules to people that depend on the parking lot in our travels. He is a very strange man.

Solid gym with a good selection of weight machines, cardio equipment, and workout areas. Busy early and after work as expected, but most days I have no problem getting on any machine with only a short wait if any.

I have been going to Planet fitness for many years and have seen many employees come and go, with that being said there is a young man working in the Daytona Beach Location named Mike who exemplifies professionalism and goes out of his way to hel, with a smile . He seems to always stay busy cleaning or helping out. He is such a refreshing sight!

Equip ok; needs a little maintenance. Person not manning desk for 2 days as i entered and gentleman came out of mens bathroom smelling like he had not had a shower in days. Think bums come in to use bathroom regularly. Older but equip works ok. Showers not as clean as most I visit as blackcard member.

Use many Planet Fitness facilities throughout florida due to my traveling. Stopped into this one today for a quick lunch time workout. First manager/employee to ever come up to me and say I can't keep my small bag off the main floor next to treadmill. What this manager/employee needs to focus on is people on treadmills texting, holding their phones reading while walking. This is without a doubt one of the worst facilities I've ever visited. Very small, in a run down area, dirty, urine on the floor, dirty toilets. Thank God I have a Black card and this isn't my main facility.

I would give zero stars if there was an option! I was a member of Planet Fitness in Palm Coast and recently moved to Daytona. All I can say about the Planet Fitness in Daytona is WOW I can't believe the huge difference from Palm Coast Planet Fitness so clean and the Daytona Planet Fitness so disgusting and dirty!! I am shocked!!! Floors are horrible with dirt and sweat on the floors, looks like those floors have NEVER been cleaned. And the bathrooms ugh no tp, floors are dirty, tp on the floors! They want you to clean the machines as you use them however there is no paper towels to clean the machines most of the time!! How are we suppose to stay safe when there is nothing to clean equipment with and Planet Fitness doesn't even care enough about there customers to clean the place!! Planet Fitness Daytona you should be ashamed!!!

Go in the mens locker room right now and your gonna smell urine. To many people working here not to be cleaning. A team member walked right in the locker room and left. I know he smelled that urine. Come on guys. Clean up!!
