This gym has the friendliest, and most accommodating staff. Facility is always clean and stocked. Excellent management and again great staff!

The employees go out of their way to help and make sure you have the best gym experience that you can have. They always greet you by name when you come in the door and answer any questions no matter how small. There are classes offered so you can focus on certain areas of your body. I have taken some of them and they have been worth it. The trainer breaks down what you’re doing so you can understand what you are doing and will be able to do what you learned on your own. Love this gym !!

I went to this PF last night. I'm in the area for a short time. I realize it was a busy time, but this place was very overcrowded. Not at all what I am used to at my home gym. Accessing the Black Card area was a joke. With no electronic sign up, I got three different directions from three different staff.Edit: I went back for the rest of my stay in Chapel Hill. I got great workouts every time. And the Black Card area just took some getting used to. They have some great ab machines. It was busy every time, but that's a sign that they're doing something right, no? The staff is friendly and helpful, as are the members.

PF is very clean. A great variety of equipment and stations. They could use more room there. The Smith Machines always seem to be taken. All in all PF is an excellent place to work out. They could update the massage beds and chairs with the new and improved models. The staff is always Friendly. Page is great and she always says hello when I come in. I have been to a number of PF around the country and I never found one to be unpleasant.

I love the price, the hours, and ease of accessibility (there are multiple locations everywhere). The staff is friendly and they do a pretty good job of keeping the place clean. There are 2 locations within 15 minutes of my house, one is 7 minutes and the other 14. The 14 minute one is closer to my job and it makes it super easy ti get in for a workout before work. I wish they would bring back the trainers and have 1 there 24/7 to help with form and plans. Before COVID there were trainers after 8 or 9am as well as group classes. The ONE huge drawback is not having a pool or any water exercise areas.

This one of the stranger PF locations I’ve been to. You enter the location in the back of the gym, and the bathrooms/locker rooms are up front. So, you have to walk through alllll the machines and through everyone to go to the bathroom. Most locations have the bathrooms near the entrance, not on the opposite side of the gym. Also, there was a ton of toilet tissue scattered around the locker room and toilet stalls… and overflowing trash cans. The shower heads and fixtures are not cleaned/maintained well. Lots of water buildup. I do not see that at other PF locations. However, the machine area seemed clean enough.

I am very disappointed with planet fitness. They use to be so simple with pricing and now there is a fee for everything. I had lost my job and wrote a letter to cancel my membership. Now, months later I get a charge on my account that inevitably puts my account in the negative. I called to clear it up only to find out there is a buy out fee of almost $60 if you cancel within a year. I feel all fees should be stated clearly when applying for a membership. I was aware of the standard monthly fee and then the $40 one time fee, I knew nothing about the early cancellation fee. This really puts me in a bind since I don't get paid again for another week and a half. Needless to say, I'll never join planet fitness again nor will I sign up for anymore memberships.

The staff are courteous, the facility is clean, and even though it’s pretty crowded it’s always easy to get in and get a nice workout done.

Your average PF. Stair machines could be cleaned more frequently and some of the weight machines could use an update. The staff is friendly and pays a lot of attention to making sure the cleaning stations have adequate supply. Please fix the smell inside the lockers in the men’s room!

I have been a Black Card member since 2017 and the Chapel Hill facility is my home base, if you will. The last several months I have visited other PF gyms throughout the Southeast...and the consistency is impressive. But, as Dorothy once chimed. "there's no place like home". Chapel Hill has a sparkling clean facility (even pre-Covid) and friendly and courteous staff.
