Great gym equipment is okay they have some decent stuff. Better to get there early morning or evening not to packed so you can get some equipment. Staff is very friendly you don’t have to wear a mask but I’d say wear one.

I have been a planet fitness member for roughly 4 years. I love planet fitness. I am a black card member. I do not unfortunately love this planet fitness. Their service is poor at best. I have checked in with my wife as a guest usually 4 to 5 times a year. No problems anywhere. Speedy checkin. Sometimes a signature at some locations. I scanned myself in at this location, he said wait and I will need your wife's driver license. Never happened before. We waited 15 minutes. I even changed. The customer he was tending even said you can help them. He ignored us. A simple "sorry I am taking so long, I'll be right with you" would have gone a long ways. I told him his service was terrible and we left. He could have apologized, but made no effort to do so. I was hurt personally and professionally by this experience. I believe the man's name was Antonio. He needs instruction on customer service skills. Fortunately I believe he is gone. Tell me, do you honestly want to wait 15 minutes to check in everytime you go to the gym? They also lack the nice tricep machines here. It is the busiest and most crowded Planet Fitness I've been to.

Love this place, friendly staff and great atmosphere for novice and people familiar with machines. People of all ages work out here, the app is great too as it shows a in-real time crowd meter. I've worked out nights, evenings and mornings with no problem.

Gym is amazing and really clean. Please put your security guard (allied universal) on a leash, I was harassed and nearly forced to leave the parking lot, because I was in the phone dealing with a family matter and prepping for my workout. That guard was very unprofessional.

It's smaller than most of the gyms but I think that's only bc it's not a stand alone facility. It's in a mini mall. Plus side, it's never super crowded (or hasn't been when I went) and they still have multiple machines for specific exercises.

***edit: I'm even seeing staff not wearing their masks now.***I don't understand how they can claim our safety is a priority and then not even ask people to wear masks. Half of the gym doesn't wear masks, and the staff does nothing. I do not feel safe here.I just went to the planet fitness in Durham and the difference is night and day. Everyone had a mask on and there was tons of space. There were twice as many benches, which makes it a lot easier to work out. If you want to join a planet fitness, go for the one in Durham. The gym is clean and nice (if crowded), but the number of people going unmasked makes me really uncomfortable. There's a sign up claiming masks are mandatory but it is ignored.

It use to be cool to flip the bird to the system, now it's trendy to complain and act like a victim. Alot of complaints about masks. They do the best they can at keeping the gym neat and tidy especially considering the traffic they get. Many other things make it hard to stay ontop of everyone all the time but if that's not good enough for you, Easy fix, stay home. Great gym, keep it up 👍

Nice gym with good equipment, but the mask policy with 3 - 5 exceptions allowing guests to not have to wear masks results in essentially no mask policy. On average 3 out of 4 guests don't wear masks. So, its kind of an enter at your own risk kind of thing. Disappointing and unfortunate.

If you are new to the gym experience and wanting to get in shape, Planet Fitness is DEFINITELY the place to go. The staff is friendly and the sign-up process is easy, which matches the safe and inviting atmosphere that the gym has. Planet Fitness is serious when it says that it is a "judgement free" zone -- you come in, you do your thing, you focus on you with no competition, criticism or "lurks." The equipment is state-of-the art and there are several work stations depending on how you want to exercise or what your level is -- you can do a quick 30 minute routine, hit the machines, stretch, lift weights, or just relax and catch a tan. The gym has clean, modern amenities and a pretty decent soundtrack if you're like me and need music to get "in the zone." I plan on upgrading my membership to the Platinum Black Card, though the Basic Membership is a great value for the price. I would definitely recommend Planet Fitness -- and this is coming from a 35-year-old male who used to hate gym class and avoiding working out at all costs. Now, I can't wait to hit the gym. E'ry day I'm grinding and Planet Fitness is where I do it. If you want that summer body or that sense of confidence and accomplishment, come to Planet Fitness. Trust me, you won't regret it.

You get what you pay for. Nothing wrong with that. It's got a sea of equipment and it's not dead, but not overly crowed. It's PF so don't expect classes or a pool or anything super fancy, but the staff is generally nice and helpful and they keep it clean.
