I was very impressed with the Concealed Carry Class and had a great experience. It was very well organized, informative and engaging. Stewart, as well as the other instructors, are very knowledgeable and professional. I enjoyed both the classroom and range session. The instructors were very patient and I didn't feel rushed to complete the shooting test. They helped me recognize my shooting mistakes and I left the class feeling more comfortable and confident in handling my firearm. Would definitely recommend this class to others!

Just finished a private handgun training session with Stewart today. He was very thorough and patient. Last year, I got my concealed handgun permit training through Triangle Self Defense and Tactical Training. Definitely the go-to place for any type self-defense training in this area! I'll definitely continue my training through them!

I had my concealed carry course here. Stewart took the time to answer everyone’s questions and made the class interactive and engaging. Very fun and I learned a lot! To the ladies out there: I am a woman who went to this class alone as I’m new to the area and felt extremely comfortable. There were around 30 people in the class with me as well.

I’ve taken several self defense classes with the owner in prior years and just took the concealed carry course. As always, he did a fantastic job teaching and practicing safety. 100% recommend.

A necessary course on concealed carry, which was well taught and illustrated. An overall professional experience. I would recommend Triangle Self-Defense training to anyone considering whether to apply for a CCW permit. All gun owners would benefit from the class whether or not they wish to carry their firearms concealed.

Stewart provided my 12-year old son and I with an intensive safety course, covering firearms awareness, basic maintenance, gun safety, gun usage and firearms defense basics.I really appreciated Stewart’s military experience, his calm demeanour and thorough understanding.As a refresher for me it was invaluable. As a first experience for my son he left feeling comfortable around firearms and I left feeling he has a good understanding on the discipline required to handle firearms.I would recommend Stewart’s course and I will be bringing my other children to work with Stewart as well.

Great instruction. They don't just teach you the required material for CHP but enforce teaching of firearm safety, confidence with your firearm, and one-on-one advice for improvement on form and fundamentals. Scott and Stewart are great and really made me and my husband feel comfortable.

I took Stewart's class at Triangle Self-Defense because North Carolina told me it was required to get my CCW permit. To me, this was ridiculous, as I was expeditionary forces in Operation Enduring Freedom, a Team Leader for a military Special Response Team (SRT), trained with the Navy SEALs, was a Range Safety Officer, and a qualified Armorer. Despite all that, I was extremely impressed with the level of detail, knowledge, and lack of fluff in the course. Stewart teaches you what you need to know to safely and efficiently carry a concealed firearm. If you are looking to get your CCW permit, or simply want to be more comfortable with your firearm, I highly recommend Triangle Self-Defense. A+

Excellent conceal carry course. Stewart really knows what he’s teaching. Teaches through one of his many passions. The course is very interactive and promotes great discussion. The dialogue we received in this course definitely made it worthwhile. Looking forward to taking his class again!

As someone new to firearms, I didn't know what to expect when I went to the concealed carry class but Stewart & the team answered all my questions & were very helpful. They are very knowledgeable about firearms, self defense & they helped me get comfortable with the basics so I would highly recommend then. Looking forward to continuing my firearm education with TST.
