It's the closest one to my house and to be honest I wish the gym was more bigger maybe a two floor gym since alot of people here in El Monte and other locations come here. The gym equipment are too close to each other and I see alot of people too busy on their phones hogging the equipment. The showers are also a problem as one of them doesn't work and maybe they should start changing or cleaning the curtains. Overall it's a great gym and I feel I don't get judged when I work out. Your showers still don't work and i have been telling the manager to get them fixed. The only that works is the one for the disabled and it really bothers me they can't get them fixed.

They have quite a bit of broken machines that should be fixed. Some of them I have noticed for the past 5 months. Other then that its clean but can get busy during the summer because of the free pass for kids

I used to go to LA Fitness years ago and the environment compare to there to Planet Fitness is so different. I actually like it here because everyone minds their own business and it's quiet. No guys yelling or making noises. It feels more of a safe environment to be in šŸ˜Š ā€¦

This is one of the worst Planet Fitness I've ever been to. The customer service is horrible, or I should say lack of customer service... The sinks in the women's bathroom are never working and the soap dispensers are empty. Once I told a worker, who looked at me and showed little interest in my concern for soap, to wash my hands and just said she'd check it and went back to looking at her phone. I would not recommend going here. Oh and the parking lot is disgusting. I saw some guy looking into cars as I was leaving, so I called to let the workers know... But they told me they couldn't do anything about a person walking around.

After more than a month absent from the gym I went this morning and realized that the restrooms were close. The lady at the front desk said there was a plumbing issue. In the cleaning stations there were not any supplies in order to clean the machines before and after I used them. Almost an hour latter one of the employees started to fill up the bottles and brought paper but when I left at 8:00 some of the cleaning stations still were without disinfecting liquid. Before I left the gym and because there were no water to wash my hands I tried to get some hand sanitizer from one of the sanitizer dispensers. It was empty.Several machines were broken and the weights were all over the floor. There is absolutely no organization at the gym. No worries about the monkey pox or any other transmittable diseases. I saw a patron that was carrying his own bottle of disinfectant for cleaning before and after using the machines. Should I do the same? Or should I cancel my membership? I think the best option is to look for other alternatives.

I always do 5 stars reviews and I hate to do this but maybe Iā€™ll change it to 5 when thereā€™s a change. I worked out and used the hydro bed around 9:30sh and requested to the lady for an additional 5 minutes BECAUSE 5 MINUTES is really not enough and I wish itā€™s 15 minutes at least. She then told me to sign up again in which I told her other locations they just punch me in. Sheā€™s not even polite and not smiling. Kindly teach her some customer service etiquettes. Thank youā€¦Ok I notice thereā€™s a change this morning when I asked to use the hydro for 10 minutes and I did by adjusting the time myself. Now I will edit this one and give you 5 starsā€¦.Iā€™m sorry I have to lessen my review to 1 star but at least itā€™s still 1 star. I finished working out this morning and was about to use the hydro bed. I already checked and I asked her if I can do it for 10 minutes and she said no Iā€™m a bossy manner. I explained it to her that all places I went theyā€™re polite and yesterday the guy gave me 10 minutes. When I was about to go in she said I canā€™t because I was rude so I told her why? She said I was rude so I told her if we review the tapes of what I told you I was not rude and youā€™re just power tripping. Iā€™m trying to get her name and she said again in a bossy manner just say the supervisor in the morning. Can you TALK to this lady and advice her how to deal with customers before your establishment gets sued? Iā€™m sorry but I have to elevate this to the corporate management. Thank youā€¦

Iā€™ve stayed at this gym for years because itā€™s conveniently close to my house but I canā€™t stress if enough how almost no one cleans down the machines when theyā€™re down yet itā€™s posted all over the place to do so. Itā€™s gotten worse through the pandemic and youā€™d think people would want to be cleaner during this time šŸ’€I like the summer program they offer for kids to join for free but if you guys are going to enforce ā€œrulesā€ on people who pay it should be enforced on the kids too. I went the other day and was waiting for a machine someone sat at for more than 10 minutes just on her phone not using the machine. With this the gym has become way more crowded than it already was. The company shouldā€™ve thought it through and designated a spot for the younger kids or expand for them to have their own section that doesnā€™t get in the way of others. Definitely considering switching gyms or going to a private gym at this point.

I can enjoy a good Drake song as much as anyone. But Jesus Christ I come here 3 times a week. And I feel like I stepped into a alternate purple reality where drake is the only musical artist in existence. Like every song playing at this location is his or one with him featured in it. Decent gym tho I just advise you to bring your headphones unless you are a Drake Stan. šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļø
