I really like this gym and the staff! Jen, Bryan, and Alejandro are all super welcoming and friendly. I just wish it was open till later!

Pretty good gym. Can't give it above three stars because this gym doesn't have dealift platforms or round plates for deadlifting. Other than that the gym is clean and has most of the equipment you would need.

They charged me personal training for 2 months even though I had put the account on freeze and didnot refund it saying it was a fault of an employee who left Bayonne fitness last month. Who the hell is responsible for your ex-employees fault?

Went at 6am. Very very crowded with no regards to social distancing. No one wipes down. Some people had a mask down on their chin. Ridiculous I def will not be coming back. This place is a sweat box. Very little to no air circulation.

Best staff and best gym environment I’ve ever experienced, wouldn’t pick another gym in a million years. Only wish the hours could open till 12am like before but other then that excellent facility.

Terrible gym!When I had questions about membership I went to the front desk and asked. I followed their advice and it cost me alot of extra money.They didn't know the policies and ownership didn't care about the incorrect info I received!There are better gyms in Bayonne!Responding to your comment to my review:Your response comes across as very insincere. I had already called the gym several times and no one cared about the issue. I moved away and coming in is not possible and I question how much you speak with staff members since I told them several times about my move ever time I called.You have my number on file and if you care about addressing my concerns, you can reach out to me. But, I have zero confidence that you will address this issue even though I followed what staff at the front desk told me and I reached out several times and felt that Retro Fitness did not care.I am a very unsatified customer and feel my only way to be heard is to write about my experience and the very poor customer service that I received.

Weird seeing bad reviews here. This place is great. The team is super friendly and I always see them running around to keep the place clean. They issue announcements about mask policies and social distancing. But I think people seem to forget they can't be everywhere at once and need to rely on the members to do their due diligence too. I live walking distance to the retro on city line and drive right passed it to come here because I like that much more. Seriously, great people working here, great vibes.

This is the best gym in town. Jenn and Jenn are my 2 go to ladies, they make it all the more fun! Cleanest place i’ve been too, and the equipment works for anything you need. The smoothies are amazing too

Jenny at the front counter is amazing! The BEST smoothies in New Jersey! Always a smile and a greeting when my group come in. Jennifer who keeps the gym sanitized is a hard worker and always positive!! They make us feel like we are home! Great job retro!

I recently joined Retro Fitness Bayonne and it’s been a great experience! Everything is very clean (including the restroom!), and the team ensures all health and safety protocols are being followed. I started the personal training program with Brian, the gym’s Manager, and he’s been wonderful! He truly cares about helping you reach your fitness goals. I’m lucky to work with someone like Brian. The gym is spacious and well organized, everyone seems to respect each other’s space. Leslie at the front desk is always friendly and welcoming. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere that I enjoyed working out in.
