Crunch Fitness - Elk Grove

There is no room to train during 4:30p-8p Monday to Thursday..It's nice seeing so many people. However, all, and I mean ALL the machines and floor space, is being utilized..Hopefully, they will expand..

Because I was cancel my membership three months ago still charging for it, and I moved different area , I let them know about it that I’m no longer coming to this gym, the report to my credit ,

I do cancel my my membership with the this crunch because always to loud music in the back area of training section, I several times I complained about this issue no one cares very poor management.

I registered for a day pass online. Went in the gym and the receptionist was talking on his personal phone. I waited for couple of mins until he was done with his phone call to help me. He asked me if I live in the area and I said that I’m moving to Elk Grove soon that’s why I’m trying couple of different gyms before I buy a membership. He refused to let me in since I don’t live in the area, and if I want to go in I have to bring proof of residence and an ID. I didn’t know that now they open DMV’s inside crunch gyms. Too many complications for a day pass. No thank you. I went to 24 hours fitness and they let me in with a day pass no questions asked. I don’t recommend this gym at all. Not very welcoming.

I never post review but this gym employees are not professional at all. I had monthly membership and few months back I canceled because I moved to other state. After 2 months I noticed they still charging me and the guy I talk to on phone was so rude when I explained him that I canceled the membership and stop charging me. He said they have no record and I have to come physically in gym. Explain all situation to guy and person was just getting rude.Teach your employees how to talk atleast. I’ll never go back to any crunch fitness.

Lots of equipment, but they’re all getting old and it’s super crowded lately. Too many kids bringing their gym bags and leaving them everywhere around the weights. And the ventilation can get quite poor as the smell of body odor can get strong at busy periods.

I signed with Crunch with the understanding that it'll be a month to month with no commitment. I have not gone to Crunch for half a year now and they have called repeatedly to harass me throughout this time. Now, I'm receiving a letter saying they have put me into collection. I have tried to pull my contract agreement for a dispute and is no longer able to do so because of the collection status. It's as if they are deliberately doing it so you have no choice but to pay them.

I’ve been consistently coming to Crunch EG during my off season to prep for rock climbing. The reason I keep coming back is because of the amazing people at the front desk who actually remember my name and care about my goals! Anne is the best! She is so kind and always encourages me before a workout! Thanks Anne for welcoming me every morning!I only wish this gym had some power racks for my long term lifting goals.

Ive been going to this gym for 2 years now and i love it. It feels like a second home as the staff is very friendly and supportive. Anne especially is very helpful and welcoming in the morning. Equipment is always clean and overall the vibes are good all the time.

Conclusion}"SUPERFICIALLY THE GYM LOOKS FINE"not happy with my overall experience and interaction with policy management. I should have been discounted the last months dues. I have yet to see if this was a switch around [typical in the gym industry] and get charged next month? In California it is illegal to charge for unused unrequested services.Overall [if accurate] it took 4-5 days to get a response for cancelation of membership.Keeping my experience now at 2 stars. I will never join another Crunch club again.-felt ignored and disregarded-found it greedy to charge me for a service I would not and could not use.-club was not cleaned [out of several visits]-felt that I may have gotten very ill [still am now 3 weeks later] after exposure to club.-the club is over-sold [as I stated at an earlier date below].
