(Bond Road) Friendly staff. Lots of class/equipment options. Non-intimidating vibe. And I’m really excited about the recent addition of the pickleball courts!! I hope that In-Shape’s takeover will be a positive experience.

Great gym, really clean for the amount of people that attend here. I workout here at odd times and still it is somewhat packed. Hence I am giving my it 4 stars… If you come in during peak hours like 5-7pm on a weekday, good luck with strength training. Gym gets really crowded. However, there are plenty of cardio machines upstairs. Lots of racket ball courts and basketball courts in the outside and they’ve also got an indoor court. Swimming pools are huge; they’ve got three. Lap pools, and two chill pools (idk what to call these lol) … A little bit more premium pricing due to the amenities but they offer military discount for all service members which is definitely cool considering it’s comifornia.

Good gym. Wide selection of weights and machines. Gets pretty busy in the evenings, wait times for machines and weights. Lower stars because of bathrooms. They are always dirty, always gum/paper in the urinals, soap dispensers out of soap a lot, paper towels out a lot (all 3 by the sinks were empty today). Smells pretty bad in there (i know its bathroom but could be better). They don't seem to check up on it regularly or put signs up to tell people to stop putting gum/paper in urinals. Could use more regularly cleanings and checks.

While I love my gym (Cal FIT Laguna), I am very frustrated that CalFIT reduced weekend hours during COVID but NEVER restored those hours back when COVID was over. We have just asked the management to restore three hours (one hour on Friday to extend closing from the current 8 PM to 9 PM and one hour each on Saturday and Sunday to extend the closure from 7 PM to 8 PM, all for a total extra of just three hours) but CalFIT management continues to ignore this very reasonable request. Their lack of response to their member concerns is forcing me to rejoin Fltness Systems, which does not close until 11 PM on all nights, even though it requires me to driv4e to the Land Park location from my Elk Grove home. It is really bad customer service for CalFIT to so ignore its customers and our very reasonable request. Maybe it will require CalFIT to lose lots of customers because of its poor weekend hour availability to its clients. This poor management responsiveness to customer concerns is why I give CalFIT a two-star rating!
