True Martial Arts

Our daughter absolutely loves coming to True for her karate lessons. All of the teachers have been amazing; and even when the classes are completely filled up, they still take their time with each student. We highly recommend True!

True Martial Arts is amazing! Top notch staff and program. They keep the kids focused and really learning with keeping it fun. Very happy we made the choice to join and it has improved our kids respect and focus. Our kids look forward to coming here twice a week. Would highly recommend.

Hands down, TRUE Marital Arts is truly the best! I can't imagine having ever enrolled our child in any other martial arts academy. From the instructors, staff and environment, you simply can't have a better overall opportunity for your children to develop from an athletic perspective as well as their mental well-being and self-discipline.All of the instructors don't just work to help your children--they genuinely care about each and every one of them. You can see this in action as every time the kids complete a routine, they immediately run to seek high-fives from the sensei, which means more to them than anything else in that moment. It's an amazing experience to see a child so happy and eager to work hard and grow all the while having a great time.We also held a birthday party for our son there and I am so happy that we chose this location rather than any of the other traditional ones. There were plenty of staff on hand to make our son's day even more special and to make sure his friends came away with huge smiles on their faces. Everyone was so eager to learn more about the facility and wanted to enroll their own children! It's incredible to see how the entire team at TRUE goes above and beyond to make each child's day special and always with a smile.We are so proud to be a part of TRUE and excited to see our son continue to grow!

I started my son with TRUE in the after school classes. He loved it so we signed him up to continue and attend regularly. My son is shy and is enjoying the classes while opening up and engaging with peers and instructors. I’m amazed with all he is learning in such a short time. We started with True Martial Arts last year in the summer and it has been great!! Both our kids love karate and never want to miss any classes! The instructors are patient and awesome with kids and young adults with opportunities provided to grow and develop in all areas- this applies to everyone on the team. My kids both want to get their black belt and explore other martial art options available at True- so we are “lifers” here I would say!!

We gave True Martial arts a try from the referral of a friend. The staff and instructors are outstanding! They are great with all the kids, keeping the classes fun but putting them to work on their training. The part I like the most is they take time at the end of each class to talk / teach about individual disciplines, morals and principles that just aren't taught anywhere but at home these days and hearing it from someone other than their parents is a great thing! Both my kids love the classes they take and the week long summer camps. If you are looking for an activity for your kids I would highly recommend True Martial Arts!

We started our kids in the grasshopper classes a couple of months ago and they absolutely love it! The classes are extremely well structured, engaging, and fun. Watching our kids enjoy karate as much as they do, has inspired my wife and I to recently start taking classes as well. So far our experience has been beyond exceptional. Looking forward to our continuing martial arts training at True.

I visited True Martial Arts through one of their online zoom sessions and was really impressed with how well the class was run. Professor Dan kept things moving at a great pace and has a fantastic rapport with the students. Highly recommended to everyone.

Great gym! Very welcoming and family friendly! The JiuJitsu instructor is a wealth of knowledge is all areas of grappling and is a true student of the game. He teaches in a way that your able to perform the moves right away in a live situation. Gyms very clean!!

My son has been enrolled at True Martial Arts for over a year, starting in the younger Grasshopper class and progressing to the Kids White Belt and Beginners class. There is so much to love about this place!1) The instructors use positive reinforcement to guide the students. While the classes get more strict as the students get older, there is no negativity involved at all. This approach has built my son’s self confidence in amazing ways!2) Classes are age appropriate. The Grasshopper class (ages 4-7) is broken up into smaller segments to hold the attention of younger children, moves are learned through games and playful scenarios, and the classes are a manageable 30 minutes.3) Everything is flexible! Membership options include monthly or a year-long contract. Students can attend classes on whichever day works for that week’s schedule rather than being locked into a specific day each week. There is even a free trial period to make sure the classes are what you are looking for.4) A portion of each class is spent discussing how to use karate mindsets in everyday life. This week they discussed self control- what it is, why it’s important, and techniques to maintain self control in intense situations.I would (and have!) highly recommend True Martial Arts.
