Good Climbing Gym. I have been going to the climbing gym for many months. I like it a lot. They update the routes just enough, have a lot of choices, have auto-belays and a good bouldering area.At times it is crowded and full of people flirting more than climbing, but all climbing gyms have such folks these days.

For a busy Saturday morning, it was fast and easy to get the initial check-in process done. This was my first time to this gym and I was impressed. The bouldering walls had a great range of problems.

This place is the best! Huge gym, so many routes, and they put up new ones fairly frequently as well. Super knowledgeable staff, and the extra gym facilities are wonderful. Definitely worth the membership.

I've been to over a dozen climbing gyms all over the world, and this one is among my favorites. Super friendly staff, tall walls, interesting route setting. The gym has bouldering, top rope, lead and auto belay climbing. There's a couple of cracks to practice your finger and hand crack climbing. The only thing missing from this gym is slab.

Friendly and helpful staff, an array of climbing walls and routes that provide fun and challenge for anyone of any skill level and any age. And I do mean any skill level and any age. I took the intro climbing class today taught by Jamie, who proved to be knowledgeable, positive, supportive, and smart, and last but not least knows how to teach. I'm 69, and with Jamie's tutoring I climbed to the top of a 5.10, learned basic belaying and various climbing fundamentals, and had a great time. Instruction is modestly priced and I recommend it highly to make the most of the climbing experience. To one side was a class of toddlers, who appeared to be having the time of their lives. As I said Ascent Studio has something for everyone of any age and any skill level, and I think it is a great asset to the community of Fort Collins and a great opportunity for those wanting to do something that is new and exciting and can push them to the limits of their ability and beyond, for those who, like me, enjoy new challenges and learning opportunities..

I can’t say enough great things about their kids programs. The coaches are amazing and great with the kids, and the studio doesn’t skimp on coaches per child, so everyone gets lots of climbing time. They are also great about placing kids according to their abilities. Their lessons and kids’ camps are fabulous!! The facility is also top notch. Highly recommend.

As a first time climber, this was a wonderful experience. The staff was helpful and willing to help as much as we wanted. The facility offered multiple bouldering walls, a yoga studio, and gym. The gym has rowing machines, treadmills, weight machines, and free weights. We purchased a day pass and this included all the climbing we wanted, use of the gym, and ability to join any class being taught in the studio. The sell some snacks and a variety of drinks. Though they do not sell bottled water, they have a filtered fill-station and water fountains. There were different skill level of participants from novice to more advanced. It was such a nice, open space we could watch others climb. Definitely will come back whenever we are out here!

I normally don’t write reviews but this place was amazing! Super friendly and helpful staff, clean facility, fun routes and really nice locker rooms. Esteban was extremely helpful and when he was explaining the gym layout and different rules/tips, it felt like I was talking to a good friend, not an employee. Will definitely be recommending this place to my climbing friends and will absolutely be coming back!

Clean and tidy with friendly, knowledgeable staff, this is a great facility. The climbing is fun and the training area is great. Boulders tended to be a bit technical and somewhat dynamic. Very fun. Didn't get to sample the rope routes. Will definitely come back.

Great gym and great route setters! This is the climbing gym Fort Collins deserved. The walls are terrific and the route setting is top notch. Great bouldering and lead routes keep space open even if there are crowds or kids. The huge boulder cave is also incredible - where else can you do overhanging, 35’ routes without needing a belay partner?
