Went to open mat to several schools in the area when I relocated from Boynton beach. (GB, att) decided to stay at RGJJ mainly bc of the crowd and the people. Training partners want to actually help you get better, not hurt you. Very relaxed and welcoming environment. Best school to start or continue your bjj training.

Amazing place, amazing people, feels like family if you decide to stick around. Couldn't wish for better team of professors they already have. Weather for self defense, as a hobby or professional - this is the perfect place! There are classes for everyone - beginners, kids, women only, all levels gi and no gi. Private sessions available, parking next to the building, everything you might need (rash guards, gi) is available for purchase at the academy. Very highly recommend!

I have trained there with my sons for a year. Hygene is extremely important to me, as a parent, knowing my sons are rolling around on mats that people sweat on. This dojo and the mats are the cleanest I have ever seen. I have dabbled in jiu jitsu and martial arts for many many years and I will personally vouch for the fact that a new student can feel secure in knowing that there are good hearted instructors and students, who you can safely and responsibly train with, at all skill levels there.

I highly recommend this gym. From the moment I step into the academy I felt good vibes and felt welcome. They make you feel like family. They have amazing hours of operation and great instructors. I am extremely lucky and happy I found this gym!

What a place, feels like home from day one, everyone at the academy makes sure of that. Curriculum and people are first class. The academy is spacious and always clean, always a good selection of music is playing when training. Professor Juan and Jason really put their heart into the teaching. Big shutout to coach Ryan for always being there and ready to give advice or help out. Osssss!!

I cannot imagine a better Jiu Jitsu experience than what Renzo Gracie FTL has provided. As a complete beginner I felt comfortable and was welcomed with open arms. Juan's detailed instruction makes things easy to understand and fun to practice. The academy is filled with great people who all have one goal: Get better and have fun. If you're considering beginning or continuing your Jiu Jitsu journey, this is the place to be.

Awesome place and very welcoming gym. Juan as well as his students are very welcoming. Juan provided excellent instructions and made sure to give attention to each individual on the mats. Highly recommend this place if you are planning to start BJJ or visiting from other locations!

I recently had the opportunity to train at Renzo Gracie Ft. Lauderdale, and it was a great experience. Professor Juan welcomed me on the mats, and provided excellent instruction. The other students were equally welcoming, making for a great training experience. I definitely hope to return to this school the next time I am in the Fort Lauderdale area.

Such an amazing welcoming environment! Awesome eclectic training with frequent visitors and an incredible team. From day one you are family, always a great time on and off the mats! Professor Juan is a great teacher and Coach Ryan runs a great kids program. All around good vibes.
