From all 50! 5 star reviews, Professor Juan is mentioned 19 times, and that is more than any other key word like bjj or training. That is worth highlighting, and that shows the calibur of his academy. I found this place due to the proximity from my job , and i was going to try other places. FTL RG BJJ is our second home!!!Professor Juan has the gift of being able to communicate complex techniques in ways that my 12, 11, and 8 year old kids can understand and grasp. My wife and I also train with Professor Juan and our lives are much richer for it. The family that rolls together grows together. BJJ for Life!

Great academy, fresh and clean. I train in NYC and dropped in while visiting my daughter. Professor and students were welcoming. Great instruction and rolls. Definitely recommend.

Professor Juan & his wife Mary made me feel welcomed since day one! Everyone I train with is very helpful & informative. I’ve only been training here for a month but it’s a great group environment & a great way to stay fit!

Amazing jiu jitsu gym. Every single time I go I come away with a newfound sense of energy and a heaping dose of knowledge. I have been going for only two months and I have learned a lot about how to defend myself and jiu jitsu. The team there is friendly and ready to help you succeed. I would highly recommend classes here to everyone.

Since the moment I walked in Professor Juan’s facility I was greeted with smiles and handshakes and still do every time I walk in. It’s been only a short time I’ve been here but I’ve found my new home to help with my obsession of BJJ and glad to find people so warm to share my Jiu-Jitsu Journey with. If you’re looking for a place where all feel welcomed and where safety is very important this is the place.

My son has been practicing with Juan Rodriguez for the past year and a half and it has been a godsend. Ignacio has been able to regain confidence and discipline. It was helped him focus a lot more in school. He really loves this discipline. I would highly recommend this place.
