GBGG is a great place to stay active, progress in Bjj and learn about yourself. The instructors are professional and genuinely care about you and your journey through life and martial arts. Coach Alex and Natalie are awesome! I highly recommend visiting and experiencing GBGG.

I was looking for a fun, practical way to get back in shape. UFC inspired me to check out my nearest Gracie studio. I called ahead to Gracie Barra in Garden Grove to express my interest, and they graciously agreed to let me audit one of their classes. I attended the adult, no gi Jiu Jitsu class held on Thursday evenings. I felt both challenged and welcomed by the coaches and students. Unfortunately, a new work schedule has me on a regular shift that doesn't end until the class is over. If provided the opportunity, I would love to continue training with these guys. Thanks to Alex and the crew for welcoming me into their studio!

I've been at Gracie Barra Garden Grove for a few months now; previously I trained at another academy and would drop-in about once a week at GBGG. Eventually, those once a week drop-ins turned to training all week at the academy. From the very beginning Professor Alex was very friendly, enthusiastic, and welcoming. You can see the passion,dedication and motivation Alex has for teaching/training Jiu-Jitsu; especially when it comes to the kids program. Whatever you're goals are (competing, self-defense, working out, etc.) Alex and the team here are dedicated to helping you achieve them. You will not find another academy with the unique atmosphere at GBGG

This is the best BJJ school!!! My son has been here for almost 5 years. The coaches are very nice and approachable, Coach Alex always conduct kids classes with focus on technique and discipline combined with playful and friendly environment. And that makes the kids not wanting to miss any classes. This makes kids' journey on learning jiu-jitsu much easier.Teaching jiu-jitsu is one of the hardest thing to teach, especially for kids, and not all black belt and not all champions can teach it. But Coach ALEX can REALLY TEACH (even kids)!!Whether you're looking to learn self-defense, or for fitness or even going for competition. The coaches know how to make you reach your goals. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place.

My daughter and I were in town on vacation and wanted a place to train. Went to Gracie Barra Garden Grove, could not have been happier. The entire place made you feel like home. My daughter did the teen’s class then the adult class with me. Professor Alex D’Hue was a great instructor with attention to detail and safety as the top items for his gym. Ralph Ganchero took time to train with me and was a great instructor and provided such great energy in his rolls. Thanks for making our visit great guys!

Coach Alex does a great job instructing and mentoring his students. He is a great communicator at all levels. It doesn't matter if he is speaking to adults or engaging with the youth of his program the point and precision of what is being taught will always be learned. He just has a way of articulating what he is teaching. I have a college student, a high school student and an elementary student in Barra Gracie Garden Grove. He's great with all three age levels.

I've been going to Gracie Barra Garden Grove for a while now, and would recommend it to anyone looking to learn a new skill, or to take their training to the next level.Coach Alex is friendly and knowledgeable, and though I've only taken the adult classes, I've seen him coaching his kids classes and been very impressed with his involved and passionate teaching style there as well.All of the coaches at GBGG have been extremely helpful, and it's easy to tell that they genuinely want their students to grow as individuals and as athletes. This school is the real deal.

My children have a lot of fun

This is a great place and great environment to learn jiu-jitsu. My daughter love training there and the instructors are wonderful!
