I paid in advance for a year membership. I sat down with an employee two months before my membership was to end and I told him I did not want to renew. I was charged (without my consent!) for an annual membership a month later (over $450). It was a pain and it took a month to get reimbursed.I really enjoyed some of the workout classes and had a pretty good experience with childcare.

I've been working out here at Mountainside fitness for over a year now. Great place to work out. All the equipment here is top of the line and always in good working order and when they are out of order they tend to fix them fairly quick. The personal trainers here are very professional, motivational, and very knowledgeable. I believe they all had to have a degree in life or health science on top of a training certification, at least from what I was told. They have so many classes you can join like cycling, yoga, dance aerobics to name a few. They have a great massage area, tanning area, and sauna. There is a great kids monitored area that you can drop your child off well you work out. Screens on the treadmills ect, where you can watch TV or watch your child play in the kids area. Locker rooms and restroom are very clean. Staff is always walking around cleaning linens and equipment. They have a great health bar where you can purchase protein shakes water ect. Great place to work out.

This gym is a great place to work out and socialize!! They have multiple classes, but the BEST are Jacque C’s classes!! She never ever disappoints!! I always leave feeling like I had a full body workout! She is supportive, and gives options for multiple levels of ability! If you try this location, give her class a try!!

As a mother of 2 it is often difficult to get to the gym but the amazing kids club is a godsend! The staff is always friendly and they really do try everything to make your kiddo feel comfortable before grabbing you from a workout. I really appreciate how hard they work. The yoga classes are great here. Hanan, Ashley and Rebecca are my faves!

Not all Moutainside facilities are created equal. The Glendale location is is a clean facility with great equipment (cannot say the same for the Peoria location!!). Would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the extremely limited weekend …

I don't think the staff is attentive enough to the locker rooms, which causes the locker rooms to get a little gross. Multiple times there has been no towels available and an overflowing pile of dirty towels.I love the Mountainside I go to in downtown Phoenix, is very clean and the staff is attentive. I've had too many poor staff interactions at this one. I hope they can fix this soon.

It seems like there are a TON of gym options in the area. I selected this location as I think it's the most modern, cleanest, convenient and overall offers the most. Its worth the extra money you pay.Today I was looking forward to watching sports on the run machine but the TV was stuck on the "Food Network" and 2 machines next to me had TV issues too. Towelettes to clean machines tend to be sporadic, today two closest to me were out with an empty roll of paper towels in its place.

Has been a great place to work out but starting to get kinda ghetto. I've been a member for a while and have an executive locker which I loved until I see a few members who don't pay for the service come in and just put their bags on the floor who obviously don't have a locker. They need to put up a sign clearly stating that executive locker room is only to be used by members who have a locker and pay the extra fee to do so. Or put a code on the door so no one else can come in, I always fear someone is gonna break in to steal my wallet or something... Just the littlest details that keep your members members.

Very clean gym with great childcare area. My kids 8, 6, and 2 all enjoy going. The older two push me to go because they want to go play. I have tried the kickbox cardio and Barre classes and both were awesome! It is a popular gym and gets busy. I went on a Wednesday at 6 and there was not one parking spot so I left and cave the next day.

Offered me a complimentary personal training session so accepted the offer and scheduled it. I arrived early and checked in. I was asked to wait in the waiting area for my trainer to finish with his previous client. Waited just over 30 minutes for my 30-minute session, trainer still wasn't done so I worked out and left. No one even checked in while I was waiting to provide an update or apology for the wait. I gave it 2 Stars only because the facilities are nice and new.
