I've been a member at CrossFit Greensboro for 3 years. It has been one best experiences and best investments of my life. I've met great people while learning more about mobility, strength training, and nutrition. Totally recommend this to anyone wanting to get real long lasting results.

This was the most challenging gym I have ever been to. It was so challenging I lasted two months, but don't let this scare you. This is my personal decision due to my work commitment and extensive travel schedule and I was unable to maintain my consistent exercise schedule to build up my strength and to increase my fitness level at the crossfit facility. Also, my fitness level wasn't where I needed to be to make a steady progress. With that being said, if you have a steady exercise schedule, motivation, and patience, this gym is for you.The coaches at CrossFit Greensboro always look out for people in the gym. The workout is very demanding, but the coaches will make sure that you do it safely. I often heard about the supposedly high injury rate with crossfit and that was one thing that took me a long time before making a decision to join as a member. I realized that if you didn't have a proper form or use proper techniques, you would get hurt and the risk is the same for any sport or exercise activity. So the coaches put a great emphasis on exercising properly to keep you from getting hurt. They do look out for the people at the gym. If you do get hurt, the coaches will check on you and suggest a modified exercise program to keep you moving without further injuring yourself. I did get hurt from doing too many ring rows that resulted in the muscle swelling around my arms. At first, it was just soreness, but then when it took much longer to heal, I asked one of the coaches and they were very responsive and made suggestions that would help me to heal safely. So I was impressed by their knowledge of dealing with sport injuries and the modified exercise programs to help maintain the fitness level.I used to exercise under the supervision of my personal trainer for two years. It was at my own pace and if I fell back, I could always start again. But at CrossFit Greensboro, the pace is always at the max so it is very demanding, but you can make a decision to take a break during a workout when it gets to be too much. Safety is the rule at CrossFit. The coaches will encourage you to keep going as much as possible, but they won't ride on you for not completing everything within the time limit. But they do expect you to improve every time. So this gives you motivation to go as hard as possible as your body allows and your confidence will grow so much it's unbelievable. They have a computer system to keep track of your numbers so you can see how much further you have gone. They put great emphasis on personal responsibility and you will see it when you get there. It's all you. You have know yourself and how much you can do in the workout. And, most importantly, you have to want it.Also, the coaches and members are very supportive of each other so that's a plus.

As soon as you walk in the door you are made to feel welcome and part of the family. Everyone is so welcoming and are always will to help and give advice to help you reach your goal.
