Came from another location (have the black card membership) and checking in was no hassle. Gym was clean and there was plenty of equipment to use. The only thing I didn't like about it was that there wasn't a a lot of space to change after you got a shower, or a safer place to put your belonging while you shower. It's an inconvenience more than anything. Other than that, this place is great. EDIT: It appears showers don't get cleaned thoroughly anymore as there is a nasty looking grime on the walls.

Great planet fitness location. The friendly staff keeps the gym very clean and assures everything works as it should. There is plenty of equipment spaced well so that a person can get a full workout even during the busy times of day.

Excellent facility with excellent staff. Never wait to check in...staff always will address folks when they walk through the door. Equipment is always working properly and is clean. Much thanks to everyone at this location that makes this PF the best in NC!!!

Nice gym, everything new and really sanitary. I love how clean the ladies locker room is and you can always spot staff walking around, cleaning up. One minor complaint is that water in showers is lukewarm at best, and pressure is weak. Employees are friendly, helpful. Personal trainer is especially helpful and very approachable. He gave me great workout tips that kicked my session up to the next level. Female friendly atmosphere, no cat-calls, ogling, etc. Everyone is too much into their own routine to be checking you out. One other thing, they have no scale here. When I asked why, I was told it's a no-judgement zone. I really didn't understand that, because people work out to lose weight, so it makes sense that you would want to track your progress. But to me, this is minor and doesn't affect the praise I'm heaping on this place. I mean, I can always just buy a scale, so no worries. Before I joined PF, I used to hate working out. Been going four weeks now and lost 9 lbs. I look good and feel great. Now I love, love, LOVE IT! PF gets outstanding marks from me. Thanx PF!

This planet fitness is much bigger than most I've been to, and I found this one to have a great selection of machines. Even at its busiest time of day, it doesn't seem that crowded thanks to a good quantity of exercise equipment and a large square footage.

Large facility with excellent staff. I've felt more comfortable working out at Planet Fitness than I have at other gyms in the past. With being open 24 hours most days, there is plenty of time to get your workout in at a time that suits you.

Honestly not my favorite gym or even my favorite Planet Fitness.The facilities are clean and there seems to be plenty of machines to cover the heaviest of use times. Most weight machines come in twos so there isn't even much of a wait there. It's a decently sized facility and it's very open.There's no reason for them to not have a balance beam scale. If you ask the staff at this location as to why there's no scale, they say it's all part of the atmosphere about no intimidation. The problem with that is that they must be assuming I've never been to another Planet Fitness in my life. Well, I have, and they had scales discreetly located in the locker rooms. And you better believe people used them - overweight, underweight, in shape, out of shape, doesn't matter. No one felt intimidated and no one was forced to get on the scale. It's like saying they won't provide 100 lb dumbbells because people might feel intimidated by watching other people use them (hypothetically). Seriously?I'm also disappointed this facility isn't 24 hours.There are several other small things that just added up to lots of annoyance on my part. So yeah, it's a clean place and if you just need a treadmill to pound on or some weight machines then you'll probably be set. If you're looking for a gym (without the meat heads although they generally leave people alone), you'll probably have to find another facility. I know I discontinued my "membership" and am looking into another place.

This is a large clean gym with plenty of equipment for you to use. They have at least 30 large flat screen televisions for you to watch while you work on your cardio, just plug in your own headphones and run or pedal your pounds away. Additionally, they have plenty of free weights and exercise machines to provide you with a total body workout. The looker rooms are always spotless and everyone wipes down the equipment after they use it. Overall, a great value for your money. I wish I would have joined sooner.

I'm overweight, and I usually feel uncomfortable about going to a gym. However, this gym takes away the intimidation factor; I love it! The atmosphere is very welcoming, and all the members I've seen or met are kind. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. When I don't understand a machine or I need help, the staff has always been more than happy to help when I've asked. Also, the equipment is great! Even during rush hours (6-7am or 5-7pm), there have been more than enough cardio machines open (treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes). There are also several circuit training areas where you can get in a good 30 minute workout cycle. Plus, the synergy 360 circuit training has fun stations. The price is really affordable, and a black card member can sign up for unlimited, free training classes. The trainer I've taken a class with is encouraging and helpful. All around, this place is fantastic!

Staff is nice and attentive. Very clean place with lots of nice equipment. I like that I can bring a guest for free; that's always a nice perk.I am not entirely happy with the weight/equipment selection. There are NO barbells that you can add weight to. The pre-weighted barbells only go up to 60lbs. Besides that, very nice selection.I don't care for the execution of their theme. They want a non-threatening, non-competitive environment where anyone can go and not be judged. I think that's a great idea! BUT, that doesn't mean that people who are more serious lifters won't want to join. This is not a gym for serious lifters that are looking to do a more old school routine with traditional lifts.
