This place is awesome. I see why Rob Kearney trains here. They have everything you need to train no matter what you're training for. Strongman, power lifting, bodybuilding, crossfit, they will have what you need. Definitely recommend hitting them up and checking this place out.

Has all the equipment you would ever want or need + more than you didn't even know existed. Good music, good environment, friendly. I wouldn't want to go to any other gym.

Lightning has been a gym I've been going to for at least the past 10 years and I cannot imagine a better place to train, regardless of your fitness interests. It's an excellent space with a variety of equipment unmatched anywhere in New England (and possibly the best in the country, frankly) and has everyone from pro level strongman competitors, elite powerlifters, Olympic weightlifters, people who just want to get fit, etc. It's incredible to see the new fight sport additions being put in place for BJJ, Muay Thai, boxing, etc. as well. But the best part is how welcoming Matt is as owner as well as all the members here. People are all more than happy to help you out, regardless of your experience or where you may be in your fitness journey. And on top of that, as a private facility, Matt runs a tight ship where jerks are bounced super fast (something that you won't get at a globo gym that just wants as many membership as possible and for you to never show up). You would be hard-pressed to find another gym of this quality anywhere in the area.
