I’m visiting from my home gym out of state, and my home PF is AMAZING. This one, however, is not up to the same standards. The weight machines are old and subpar, with most of them not having nearly enough weight on them. I don’t know if this is to discourage people from being “lunks,” but for someone who regularly lifts 200+, machines with 100lbs just don’t cut it. Then the inconsistency with what does and doesn’t have weight (290 on a leg press but 100 on hip machines, how does that make sense lol). And the intervals on some machines make no sense either, up by 10s until you get to 60, then to 80 then 100 with no in between… They’re in desperate need of some upgrades. The staff was nice, they didn’t greet me bc they were busy but they did say something as I left. Just far too many cardio machines to justify the lack of weight equipment.

This place is a joke.. Charge my credit card each month automatically for my daughters account. Won't let my daughter workout today because they say there is a late fee owed but cant tell her how much!!!!! If the payment is late its because of Planet Fitness! Terrible customer service!! Stay away!

I'm not in love with the gym but this is the only gym that's open at 2:45 a.m and I have to exercise. They need better machines! On the plus side: VERY CLEAN

This place has the best staff 🙌I was a member for over a year and they showed me nothing but the perfect example of customer service 👌. When I had to cancel my membership JURY one of the managers went way out of his way to help me💪💪If you are looking to join a Gym this is definitely the place to be

Polite staffing greets upon arrival and leaving. Gym is keep well cleaned. This gym has well enough equipment. This itself gives you plenty of options and cuts back on wasted time.

Gym was great until they removed the social distancing signs on the machines. That is the whole reason I picked the gym and on the website they advertise social distancing on machines. I brought up the issue and asked if I could just get signs to put up on the machines beside me and just return them when I am done. I was told no. I was told to use machines not by other people. That is crazy I do not have control over who decides to get on a machine beside me. I also don't want to have to stop working out to hop on a new machine if someone gets on a treadmill beside me. I am a black card member and should not be treated like this. A third of the treadmills were socially distanced and those are the ones that everyone uses so obviously people like that.

Clean and welcoming. The staff was awesome. Being from out of state my card wasn’t on file and Apple Pay wasn’t working right. The guy at the desk was super helpful when I was trying to grab a Gatorade!

Don’t go to any planet fitness especially this one. Not only is the equipment outdated but I signed up in January with a $3 down payment ready to get in shape. A month later I found a planet fitness closer to my house. They said I can’t switch until 60 days later. Mind you, the employee said I can go to any gym. Luckily the manager at the high point location made something happen to where I could change my home gym. (Very thankful ) I come to the one in Greensboro & 2mo later and after paying a $15 late fee NOBODY told me about I have to pay a $40 annual fee NOBODY INFORMED ME About. The employees at the high point location DO NOT inform you of any hidden fees. I tired to cancel but they still want they’re money. If this is the case you’re better off paying $25 at golds gym.

Planet Fitness on Eastchester is a case of the pieces adding up to more than the sum parts of the whole. All of the machines and equipment are kept in excellent working condition, even if some of them are a little outdated. There's an excellent variety of equipment to use, though, so if you ever find yourself having to wait for access to a machine you want, it's plenty easy to find others to use until that one's available. The employees are human; I'm sure they get tired and sometimes they'd rather be someplace else. But you'd never know it. Never even once have I not been greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. They always immediately acknowledge and help me if I approach the front desk for any reason. And they always offer another smile and a "have a great day!" on my way out. Those little touches may not seem like a lot, but in a climate when the employees at most businesses would rather scowl at you than speak audible words, the Planet Fitness experience rises above.I've never gone to gyms before PF because I found them too intimidating. And sure, there are gymrats at PF who love their Adonis-like bodies and flex and stare at them lovingly in the mirrors lining the walls. But all clients are very respectful of one another, and that kind of behavior comes from the atmosphere and environment that's created. I've never had a single bad experience with another customer. (Not at this Planet Fitness, anyway.)The facility's cleanliness is top notch. I'm always impressed by the female employee who does the vacuuming and other forms of cleaning; she never stops moving. Ever. Constantly keeping the place as tidy as possible. She must feel like she's fighting a no-win battle that will never end, like that mythological figure cursed to never stop pushing a giant boulder up a hill, but she clearly has a strong work ethic, and I've never seen her so much as frown. It's hard to come up with any complaints. One critique is that the facility's floor plan feels... very tight. There are spots throughout the floor that feel cramped, and I've been to other Planet Fitness facilities where there was a little more space to maneuver between equipment and clientele. But I do think they've probably done the best that could be done with the footprint available.Wouldn't be the worst thing if the stretching area was roomier. The variety of activities available is one of Planet Fitness' strengths, I think, and they do a great job there. Is it a perfect facility? There's no such thing. They could use more cable machines, for one thing. And nothing would make me happier than to walk in one day and discover that they've installed a row of punching bags.Pro tip: Get the black card membership so you have access to all the perks. It's worth it. Particularly if you a) plan on using more than one PF facility, b) want to invite a buddy to workout with, or c) and most importantly, you want a MASSAGE. The massage chairs and hydro massage tables are what it's all about. I never finish a workout without a massage, because they feel fantastic! Even though they're not quite built with the proportions of tall guys like me in mind, they're still worth every precious second. All in all, Planet Fitness is an excellent experience that surprised me from the start at how accessible, unintimidating, clean, and overall enjoyable it is. I look forward to going, enjoy myself while I'm there, and always feel good about how I've spent my time afterwards.
