I really do not understand how this place has a great review. My first week there I was disgusted at how the beauty angel and massage chairs were being kept. They looked so gross I never stepped foot in that area again. They went from using cash to card only during the pandemic which I did not know until I came in to workout late at night prepared to pay cash for a bottle of water. They refused to take my cash but also refused to let me have a complimentary bottle of water which I felt they should have been courteous enough to do since they didn’t send out notice of the change. I asked the employee working that night (heavy set white male that wears his hair in a ponytail) if I could please have a water because it was dark and I did not want to have to leave the gym to go to the gas station for a bottle of water. He was not concerned with my safety and refused so I left grabbed some water and returned. My final straw was this week when I came in to work out and found out my membership had been canceled by my job that was covering my membership for the part year. They were switching to another gym. I totally forgot and was there ready to workout but was told I couldn’t work out for free. I let them know that I would have no problem signing up on my own because I love how convenient pf is but I would rather get my workout done first as I did not have any of my banking information at hand. THE GM himself did not offer to let me workout and sign up later even after I had been a member there for a whole year. Needless to say I decided to join another gym. I’ve worked at a few pf myself and I’ve never seen any of my coworkers or GMs give disgusting customer service like this location.

Extremely cleanPlenty of exercise equipment, both free weights and machine.Great place to workout from ages young to seniors.Fantastic staff welling and able to help you in any way you need.Check it out for yourself, I don'tbelieve you will be disappointed.

I’ve been a BC member for about 6-7 years, started my membership at this location. Cleanliness seems to be slipping a little. Equipment is fair enough for what I need, seems like most PF gyms have similar machines. My biggest issue is the fact that the tanning beds and massage chairs are way outdated, especially compared the 4 other local gyms I’ve visited. Most others have stand up tanning beds, and the next closest location has the new Hybrid bed with the red light therapy for helping heal damaged skin and has well-being perks. Eastchester still only has the old curved, uncomfortable, cracked acrylic beds. They actually have upgraded their hydro massage beds, which was a surprise to me last time I was there. The massage chairs are ok, but other locations have the newer ones that really give more options to relax your muscles after a long day or good workout. I’ve been told several times over the last 4 years when I asked about them getting newer stuff to catch them up to par with other locations that “there was/is supposed to be a remodel but it hasn’t happened”. We can clearly see that. It’s inconvenient to go 14 miles out of the way just to fully enjoy my experience somewhere else, not the closest to my home at 5 miles. The current staff is pretty good overall, Jury is the best at this location. Super cool guy, he’s been there basically the whole time I have been a member. Please make some upgrades to your equipment at this location, it is long overdue.

I have recently been working out at this planet fitness and usually I would have been working out in Greensboro or The planet fitness on Eastchester. I personally like this one because people that work out here are more cautious and they seem to give you space. The workers are great here as well.

No, I do not need to wear a mask when there’s no one near me, like no ones there’s 4 people at the gym. how am I suppose to breathe when I run on treadmill Riddle me that?? Do I still need to wear a mask even though I’m vaccinated? Probably yes, that’s just so dumb. Mask do not help, period.

Away from my home gym, and this planet fitness was near me. It was amazingly clean, had nice amounts of equipment to allow social distance and the nicest staff!

I was forced to leave because I’m unable to wear a mask because of my respiratory disease. Their mask policy says that it’s in accordance with state and local mandates, which states that people with difficulty breathing or behavior disorders do not have to wear masks. They told me to go to Kernersville, which has the same written mask mandate as everywhere else in NC. Guilford county lists the exclusions in section IV of the mandate.

Their customer service and cleanliness started before COVID, increased during it and continues today. I feel very safe and clean.

My home gym. Love it. Unbelievably clean. Love the staff and trainers. Look for Dylan. He knows what he's doing. Great black card features.

Personal trainer, Cassidy is FANTASTIC! Her attention to my personal fitness & health needs surpassed anything I imagined!Oscar has greeted me on numerous occasions and is very kind & friendly!
