24 Hour Fitness in Hillsboro offers a range of amenities including a pool, sauna, steam room, and a variety of fitness equipment. The gym has a spacious layout, friendly staff, and provides group fitness classes like Zumba. However, the name can be misleading as it isn’t open 24 hours a day.

It can get a bit crowded and the machines are in need of an upgrade.

3 squat racks. 4 benches. Enough equipment to stay busy for the entirety of your workout even during busy hours.

It's a great gym, the amount of equipment is pretty good and the basketball court is awesome

The facility would rate much higher if they had additional racks, kept the plates organized, and had a set of bumper plates.

We live close to this gym but it needs to upgraded. Most of the tredmils skip if you want to run on and some have missing jacks for the headphones.

This gym is HUGE! Tons of machines and free weights. Pool, hot tub, sauna, and a full size basketball court...this place can't be beat.

This gym is just OK. I docked a star because the locker rooms are not always clean. I docked another star because you can't get AT&T cell service in half the gym so it really takes the joy out of working out.

It is a decent gym but it's laid out in a weird way. Cleanliness is questionable with hot tub. Steam room is pretty good.

I love coming here. Very friendly motivating staff always available to answer questions. And the kids club staff are amazing to, my daughter loves it in there. Good place to come work out!

(Note, this review may update in the future once I start going to the place more often)Update 3: It looks like the photos I posted on here got removed with no explanation. Conspiracy much? Bumping my rating down to 1-stars. Please go to Planet Fitness or a different 24 Hour Fitness. I'm looking at the one down in Beaverton and that place looks real nice.Update 2: After going to this particular gym for 2 weeks now, all I can say is save your money and go to a different gym or a different 24 Hour Fitness location. This place is filthy and outdated to the brim. The men's locker room is a nightmare every time I step a foot in it. It's like walking into a serial killer's den. There's ALWAYS trash laying around. Trash like newspaper, used bandaids, pills, clothes, books, and much more atrocities. Also, the toilets are always clogged up and disgusting to use. There's always used toilet papers laying around on the floor and on the toilet itself (lots of poop and blood scattered everywhere too). Outside of the locker room, people almost never wipe down the gym equipments. This was something that I never seen happen at Planet Fitness.Update 1: Going to the gym after trial day: The place is old. The equipments are yellow stained with dust. The machines at Planet Fitness is 10x cleaner and more modern than the ones here. The scenery of the gym is colorless and depressing to look around. The locker room is outdated too and I sometimes feel uncomfortable to stay in. I say uncomfortable because right outside the locker room is a sign that warns people of thieves that steals belonging in lockers and cars. You wouldn't see something like this at Planet Fitness. Also, ALSO, there is no wi-fi. The water fountains are outdated as well (have fun standing around for a minute to fill up a single water bottle). People don't wipe down machines and trash cans and paper towels with sprayers are rare in this gym.Original Review: Ignore all of the past negative reviews of this location and listen to mine. I went inside today for the first time to have a tour around the place. I recently canceled my membership to Planet Fitness and I wanted to give 24 Hour Fitness a try. Upon entering the building, I was greeted by a lady at the front desk. She was a little unprofessional, but managed to point to the right direction on how to get a tour.Once a the tour was setup, a gentleman by the name Rick acted as my tour guide. He was very nice and explained everything very thoroughly with great real life examples. We went to each area of the gym and it seemed very nice. A lot more spacious than Planet Fitness. However, as I walked around more and more, it didn't have the home feeling that Planet Fitness had (this will likely change as I spend more time here). Something that Planet Fitness offers in terms of "home feeling" that 24 Hour Fitness doesn't have is the homey environment. Planet Fitness has their own branding, their own motto, and their own quotes that are displayed everywhere. They even do monthly free pizzas and bagels and they have two buckets of Tootsie Roll to grab on your way out of the gym! Meanwhile... 24 Hour Fitness gives you the corporate feeling upon stepping foot inside. There's also the vague smell of the swimming pool too.Okay, I sort of gotten off track in that last paragraph, let's start where we left off at. Once the tour was done, Rick started to ask me about what membership I wanted and etc. He was very nice and helpful, I like that staff members like him. Rick gave me a 5-day trial to let me decide and I've already decided that I'll be getting a 2-year membership to 24 Hour Fitness because of their great service and the things they offer.I'll be sure to update this review in the near future once I start coming here more often. This review is just my first impression of what the gym looks and feels like so far. If anybody has a question about the gym at this specific location, contact them and I'm sure they'd be happy to help.
