I really enjoy Planet Fitness on Hillsboro. I usually go around 2 or 3 am. Tanning and the massage chairs are my favorite. Everyone there is always so kind. Keep up the great work graveyard shift. (•‿•)(•‿•)

Not a fan of the way my spouse was treated as an employee so wouldn't recommend it as a job. For the unbiased part of my review just compare the building and equipment here to any other location outside this franchise and you will find it's equipment is aged and the building has serious issues. They were updating some equipment but many things are still very aged and should have been replaced long ago. This franchise loves to open new locations with investor money but ignore it's older locations. Tanning beds old. Hydromassage old and often broken down,toilets often broken and gross, total body often broken, walls crumbling in corners, paint peeling off walls in places,..it speaks for itself. that's just me sticking to things anyone can see for themselves inside the building.

Really good. Nice new cardio machines since i was there last. Most (but not all) were good abt cleaning the machines after using. But what happened to the grape now or later candies they used to hv at the desk???

Quality of equipment and cleanliness of environment (generally) is all top notch. The consistency of the staff however is an area of improvement. ESP. in the areas of club rule enforcement when it comes to guests sanitizing machines and how equipment is operated. More so the former then the latter I've been observing since coming to this location for several years now. I've yet to see a staffer confront any singular patron about it, likely because they're afraid of losing business in an industry that like many others is struggling.There is more to your role in these facilities other then policing mask enforcement with your patrons and standing behind a desk all day, or emptying trash.Edit - After reading some of the more abhorrent reviews of this location I will be terminating my membership once I am done with my annual commitment and taking my business elsewhere.Edit 2 - After doing some extensive research cost versus benefit I will continue to keep my membership intact, for the time being, after my annual commitment period is up. Planet Fitness appears to have the death grip as far as pricing structure is concerned. That being said, the staff at this particular location needs a wakeup call as far as basic role clarity and job expectations in line with your club policies are concerned. And while I haven't experienced it myself, reading reviews of people that have been accosted by staff, in any capacity, either directly or indirectly is aggregiously unacceptable and should be /highly/scrutinized by the management of this location.

Love it ! The cardio equipment has been updated and there is always plenty of machines available for use! The employees there always make sure to greet you and make you feel welcomed. The gym is on top of making sure it's clean and plenty of cleaning supplies readily available for use.

Comfortable Atmosphere. Friendly Employees. PL Black Card is soo worth the extra cost. My husband and I started going to the gym every morning before work. We're always greeted by happy and friendly employees. They keep the place clean (as clean as a gym can be) and don't hesitate to assist people that walk up to the counter. After spending time on their new machines and treadmills, we like to recover by using their massage beds and chairs. I specifically like the full body enhancement machine as it helps you tone your body. I thoroughly enjoy my time at Planet Fitness and have yet to be disappointed.

Its not a bad PF! Low lighting, clean, friendly, updated equipment. I just don’t like the claustrophobic tight rooms. Equipment is so close together I can hear the thoughts of others and most of the cable machines are right up against walls so I couldn’t do my favorite workouts. Setting up hip thrusts in the smith machine would’ve been very close in the way of the benches. Barely any room to set mats down. I can’t imagine trying to do workouts where I need some space for movement during crowded days. Its like closets with equipment in them. So if you’re like me and appreciate space during your workouts, meh

Been coming to this gym for awhile now. Front desk staff is nice! They greet you upon arrival and thank you as you exit.The area of improvement would be the trainers. They are not so nice but have an attitude and are condescending. Witnessed a trainer yelling at members to leave the 30 minute area if they’re not moving machines and to stay out of area.Other than that the gym is decent. I’d like to see groups sessions/classes added as in like a boot camp, kickboxing, etc.

I go to the gym for 3:30 am on weekdays and the staff there is always so friendly and helpful. I look forward to my workouts because I’m always greeted and treated with respect when I’m there. The staff are always cleaning and the gym always appears to be clean. I enjoy the vibe and atmosphere. Also, I really like how welcome I feel here, especially since I’m from Louisiana and only in the Portland area for work. The only complaint I have is I wish the gym were open 24/7 as it would be easier for my schedule and I could then add a workout on Monday and Saturday early mornings as well. Regardless, It’s definitely worth the black card membership!

I just signed up for the Black Card Membership and I absolutely love it so far. The employees are all very nice and they are all willing to help with anything that you may need help with.UPDATE: I have been using this gym long enough now to know that the employees are all rockstars! They are all so helpful and willing to help in any way they possibly can. They also make sure to help in a timely manner, in fact, I don't think I've ever waited more than 3 minutes for an employee to come assist me with whatever I've needed. I highly recommend this branch of Planet Fitness! :)
