I joined when gyms reopened during the pandemic. The gym is clean, has showers and lockers for personal use. When I joined, they said the key fob will get you discounts at nearby restaurants but that never worked (Looking at you Taco'aco). Just like the name says, Anytime was never closed. Parking was rarely an issue when I chose to go (early morning ~4-5am). Overall it was a good gym.The reasons for the low rating are first, the price and method of payment seems predatory. It's $70 per month, and you have to sign a paper that says you will be a member for 2 years. They also don't accept credit cards for payment method, the require your checking account and routing number. Presumably this is to ensure that even if you try to leave before the 2 years is up, they still get paid. But this is fairly par for the course for gyms as I've found. Though, When I eventually canceled my membership recently, they were fairly easy to work with. Submit an email and you're done. The other reason is the bench press station has an adjustable height bench that broke about a month into my membership. That was in 2021. It is still broken. When I brought it up to the worker who was there, they said it is not supposed to be adjustable...

I am in LOVE with this gym!! Great equipment, respectful customers, extremely clean and very nice and knowledgeable personal trainers! My wife and I have been there for 6 months and couldn’t be happier! So far I lost 30lbs, thanks to proper exercise, Diet and advice from their new addition Kanika Utley!! She is truly phenomenal!! I HIGHLY recommend joining Anytime Fitness and training with Kanika!!!!

Phenomenal facility and staff. I really appreciate the spaciousness. There’s a separate dedicated cardio section, a functional training area, and free weights section. Veteran owned and operated, helpful staff, and great atmosphere. 10 out of 10 stars! @AnytimeFitness Kaka’ako

This is a nice gym if you want to do mostly free weights and cardio. Only a few machines. It’s small and easy to get in and out as long as there’s parking. It’s difficult to park when the lot is full especially when street parking is restricted. Overall a good experience here!

Beware of those predatory contracts. They signed me up for a two year when I specifically mentioned I might be moving out and was assured I could cancel if I provided proof of new residence.I moved about 4 months later and when I tried to cancel was told I had to pay 60% of the $1450.58 remaining in the contract.

AVOID, SENT ME TO COLLECTIONSSHODDY BUSINESS PRACTICESTrained at over 20 Anytimes and had a flawless experience until this place. They stopped charging my card because it was reported "lost or stolen" when it wasn't, I still use it it's always been active. Tried to get them to reset my card and ring the charges through but they wouldn't and sent me to collections. The collector won't answer my calls and will drag it out until they can send me to the creditors. Go to Planet Fitness down the street for less than half the price with twice the equipment.

So knowledgeable about which weight training exercises to set me up with. Nick was my trainer and he adjusted all the weight training to accommodate my previous injuries and current back injury that I was doing pre-surgery training for. I feel confident that my recovery from my back surgery will be easier due to Nick's expertise.

Do not go to this anytime fitness, they are very dishonest when it comes to canceling a membership. I left hawaii at the start of 2021 and came in person to close my membership. The worker said that everything was good and it was canceled. Once I left the island they charged me over and over even though I called and told them multiple times I am not using their facilities. Then they sent illegal charges to debt collectors. Your better off going to 24 hour fitness.

Respectfully, this is a financially exclusive gym. The monthly membership as of now is $65 a month and you are locked into a 2 year lease ($1560). While I understand this is probably to 1) keep tourists out and 2) reduce gym crowding, it doesn't make up for the fact that the gym is basically a hotel gym. 1 squat rack, 1 smith machine, 1 bench press rack, 3 benches, 4 treads and limited accessory machines. There are also only one set of dumbell weights so you are likely going to have to wait for those 15-30lbs dumbells. Now that's the bad. The good is that they have a neat little terf area for sled workouts and calisthenics. The gym is also pretty true to being open unlike some of the other gyms around. Sadly, a gym this size has limited layout options which is why I wouldn't give a 1 or 2 stars. It is clean, and has some nice music but please put something else on the TV other than distracting YouTube compilations.
