Manakoa Gymnastics

My daughters love Manakoa.

Our kids love going to Manakoa Gymnastics! The coaches are professional and very encouraging. We have seen great progress in the short time the kids have been attending classes. We look forward to watching our kids continue to improve.

My daughter started a few months ago at Manakoa with Coach Cynthia. She was SO shy and cried the first day, but the coaches were so reassuring, kind, and patient with her. She has LOVED going back ever since, and has built such great confidence. I highly recommend Manakoa for your little (and big) gymnasts!

My daughters started gymnastics when they were 4 years old back in Connecticut (where we lived at the time). They really enjoyed it, but it was more of a beginner tumbling class.We moved to Hawaii shortly after their 5th birthday and they were very concerned about finding a new gymnastics gym. I originally found Manakoa and decided to try it because of how close it was to where we lived… worst case scenario, it would be temporary until we found another place.As it turns out, that was an unnecessary thought. My daughters LOVE it at Manakoa. It’s a great hour a week worth every dollar (and it’s reasonably priced to begin with… I grew up with a gymnast sister and gymnastics is like most things in life: cheaper options are typically cheap for a reason), something they look forward to all week.Their coaches are very friendly and supportive/encouraging. They are good at communicating. Very happy to be sending my children there and looking forward to our time at Manakoa. HIGHLY recommend if you have children that have interest.

Let me first say how much I love this gym. My daughter is 6 and is a competitive gymnasts. Prior to moving I reached out to every gym on the island. I wanted to keep her in competitive gymnastics and i wanted her to keep progressing and growing in the sport. Communicating with the gym and coach Cynthia was a breeze. They responded so quickly, eased all my concerns. Speaking with the gym prior to moving i had a feeling it would be great. Then we moved here and my daughter and the gym surpassed all my expectations. They are so quick in communicating, and are so accomdating. They are very knowledgeable on the sport. You can tell that they have been in and around the sport for a long time. My knowledge of the sport is growing and if I have any questions they explain everything in full detail. You are always greeted with a smile and a wave and the coach knows every kids name. My daughter made friends very quickly and you can tell she is progressing so quickly. This gym really feels like Ohana and I am so excited for my daughter's gymnastics future with this gym.

My son has attended classes at Manakoa since early 2019. We cannot say enough good things about this gym or the awesome coaches. Even during the COVID restrictions, Manakoa found unique ways to pivot to keep the kids training and make up for any missed time. They took great care to provide individualized options for everyone and, as a result, the kids never missed a beat. We will be moving away from Oahu this summer, but if it were not for this move, we would continue on with Manakoa for years to come. The coaches here are kind, knowledgeable, caring, and very technically proficient. The facilities are clean and updated and they take great care to keep kids safe and injury free. Most of all, the coaches are incredible to work with and this is a family environment where everyone is warmly welcomed into the Manakoa Ohana.

My daughter, who is on a competitive team in NYC, was able to continue with her training at Manakoa gym. Her "new" teammates and coach are all so welcoming; my daughter is thrilled to be able to continue working on her skills while on holiday.

We heard about Manakoa Gymnastics through a friend who had her daughter enrolled and decided to attend a trial class. Our two girls have been going to the gym for almost three years since. I am amazed at how they have grown into strong and confident gymnasts. I love the approach the coaches have; kind, encouraging, welcoming. It has been a fantastic experience, we highly recommend this gym!

My kiddos started less than a year ago and have grown so much in skill and confidence! We love the nurturing, caring environment and family feel of this gym!
