This gym is one of a kind! It does not have that "big box" feel like other places where you are one in a crowd. The equipment is always clean, the gym is laid out efficiently, and the staff is always so nice. The classes are the real reason I go though! The Barre class is on point, (pun intended), and the ABC class is the best whole body workout you could ask for. Stefani leads classes that, though every muscle may ache later, are engaging, fun, and get the job done!Even during the pandemic the gym stepped up in NO time and offered virtual classes and videos to help those stuck at home. They made it possible to do workouts with whatever you had at home, no equipment needed!Between the equipment, classes, and staff you really cannot go wrong with this gym!

Pros:Overall, the gym has pretty good equipment! They have over 7 squat racks and 3 smith machines. They have a nice turf area to do any type of agilities/plyometrics and sled push/pull. They have a good number of TRX and rings, for those who like suspension trainers. They have boxing bags and pads for those who want to box. They do have a lot of group classes available.Cons:The music is pretty loud. Most people use headphones, but the music is so loud that you'll have to turn up the volume of your music. I don't care to blast my music when I'm listening to it on my headphones. The hack Squat machine isn't good. It does work properly and smoothly, but the depth of the squat isn't good. You can add something on the platform; so you can get more range, but it's a hassle. Same thing with the leg press. Both machines do work properly and smoothly, just lacking on the ROM.

Great gym! I've been working with Chelsea for about 2 months, and she is the best!Just had to edit this review to add to my experience training with Chelsea. I've lost almost 20 lbs while gaining muscle and strength. She's helped me get back to working out consistently after 3 years of not doing anything. Chelsea is an excellent coach. She's extremely knowledgeable and a great communicator! I've had a wonderful experience working with her!

Facet Seven Heights is a fantastic gym. It is very well equipped and has a bit of something for everyone. They have plenty of cardio equipment, free weights, and machines. They also have a large turf area with CrossFit style equipment and an area for boxing. If classes are more of your thing, they have lots to choose from. Facet Seven Heights is very well managed and a gymgoers dream. If you're looking for a new gym in the Heights area look no further, you will love this place.

Update from my last review since it's been a hot minute. Again I will say that Facet is an amazing gym with an amazing community of patrons and trainers. Jake Emrey is my trainer and has been for some time. He is knowledgeable, flexible, …

Just joined to start the year and already love it. It has everything you need for a good workout, regardless of what type of exercise you do. It is a no frills gym that motivates you to have a good workout and not lounge around!

Just moved to the area and was looking for a gym that was NOT one of the national chains - Facet Seven has been a breath of fresh air! They have everything from free weights, cardio equipment, classes and you can’t beat the overall environment! Exactly what I wanted, highly recommend!

My husband and I had the opportunity to work with Jake over several months and enjoyed every minute of it (although we may have struggled during some of the workouts). We are both very active but wanted to put on more muscle—and Jake helped us reach our goals.Jake is professional, punctual, flexible and attentive. He planned every session in advance and quickly adapted whenever we had sore muscles, injuries, or other concerns. And his enthusiasm and professionalism never wained. It is rare to find a trainer that is knowledgeable about both nutrition and training—Jake is well versed in both. He answered all of our nutritional questions and helped us develop meal plans and habits based on our goals. He encouraged us to achieve our training goals while remaining cognizant of our limits. In doing so, Jake heavily emphasized form and fundamentals. This approach was especially beneficial to me because we started working with Jake only a few months after I underwent surgery. Jake greatly simplified the transition from physical therapy to class workout sessions.Lastly, we experienced meaningful tangible results with Jake. My husband and I both gained a significant amount of muscle and lost fat. More importantly to me, my post surgical leg is now almost the same in muscle mass and strength (in under 10 months). My physical therapists noted how much muscle I gained and how much stronger my legs were.At base, Jake is the best trainer you can find in Houston and we could not be any more enthusiastic in our endorsement.

I did personal training with Jake Emery at Facet Seven and would give 5 stars every workout. Jakes passion and focus to training is unbeatable and he tailors every warm-up, move, and workout to his clients needs. From the time I arrived to my workout until I walked out the door he was 100% focused and dedicated to not only guiding my training but watching me to improve form, technique, and push me along the way. I fully recommend this gym and 5 star recommend this trainer!

I’ve been coming to this gym for a few months now and absolutely love it. There’s a great selection of machines and weights and plenty of space to do squats, deadlifts, etc. Stefani’s yoga class is great, too. It’s never crowded in the morning unlike the bigger chain gyms nearby.
