West Univ OT is awesome. The front Staff and Coaches really support you. Chuk and all the coaches inspire you to reach your goals.

I’ve been a fan of the workouts, but today I’ve realized that the “no show” policy is a little hardcore. Today, I got the workout time mixed up and I thought it was at 9:45am instead of 9:30am. 100% my fault. I called on my way over and asked if there’s any way I could get moved to the next class at 10:45am and be forgiven the no show fee of $12. At first, I thought they were going to help me and the front desk went on to review my account. After a bit, I was informed that I couldn’t be waived the no show fee today because in April I showed up late for a class and there was another instance where I double booked and needed them to cancel a class for me.Let’s review those 2 situations that were brought up. The class in April that I showed up late for, I paid the no show fee of $12. That was the first class I’d signed up for and I didn’t account for traffic as it was my first time taking that route this early in the morning. I was late and it didn’t happen again. The second situation was an accident on my part in the app where I booked 2 classes back to back somehow and I needed help cancelling one without being incurred the under 8 hour cancellation penalty. Both instances I believe are reasonable and I don’t have a history of “no showing” for classes. The reason I’m disappointed is because their class was likely not full today and it would be easy for them to recognize my error and just move me to the next class. Instead of helping me, they just brought up past “mistakes” and used it as a defense as to why they wouldn’t help me today. If I had a history of no showing for classes, then sure charge me. But as I just explained, the 2 instances they brought up were reasonable mistakes that haven’t happened again. I’ve gone to at least 15 classes where I’ve showed up on time.I understand the purpose of the no show policy, but have a tiny bit of mercy for honest mistakes. I love the workouts here but the policies don’t inspire rapport with the clientele. Your class was likely not full today and it would be no loss to you to reschedule me and waive the fee.

I originally joined OTF in 2019 and did many a workout at this location due to its proximity to my job. Coach Ida is literally sunshine and positivity in the flesh! I am no longer working out at this location but I have fond memories of the awesome workouts here.

Great studio, from front desk staff to coaches and equipment cleanliness. Drew and Chuk are my favorites (every coach is strong). Drew is really particular about form and pushing clients with additional challenges and weight (his Lift classes are v good). Chuk has great energy, recognizes and calls out when clients push themselves, and keeps a fast-paced playlist (v helpful for runners on endurance runs or sprints). Highly recommend!

I arrived exactly 30 minutes early and got a call that my first class would get rescheduled because I was late when I arrived 30 minutes early. I did not understand why they would not let me attend class when I was already there. Very unreasonable. I went to another location that did not turn me away for arriving 30 minutes early.

The variations in exercises is great. After 6 sessions (3/week) and trying different trainers/class leaders I've decided which i prefer and what works with my schedule. I already feel stronger and cant wait to see my results in a month.
