Second time @ Red Wolf, decided to come back because I recently moved out to Huntington Beach and currently going through the Fire Academy. Knew a great coach and friend that used to train here named Alex and I knew this box was already awesome. Did a quick drop in and later decided to get a punch card, Matt and Adam, the two owners are great! They were able to adjust with my busy schedule and figure out a reasonable price for a 20 visit punch card. Definitely recommend those who are new or moving in the area to come and check this place out!

Before you read this review let me first say that I am 32 and have lost 175 pounds over the past three years. (Weighing 516 pounds when I was 29) long story short for the first time since I was 23 I wore a 2x -t shirt last night and it's in large part to the support I have gotten from the redwolf family. If you're intimidated by crossfit, don't worry Redwolf is big on technique, fundamentals, and you can scale every workout to fit your limits. Every class starts with stretching and technique of any workouts you are doing that day, and the coaches are awesome. They are awesome and an amazing gym.

Reading the Yelp! and Google reviews on Red Wolf CrossFit, I initially thought “there’s no way a place can be that great.” I was wrong. Red Wolf is an amazing community that welcomes all shapes, sizes and abilities. Initially, I was very nervous about starting CrossFit (I herniated my L4-L5 disk in high school), but I quickly found it to be effective, fun, SAFE, and addicting! The coaches at Red Wolf emphasize proper form over everything, no exceptions. I had an out-of-town co-worker with no CrossFit experience drop in while she was visiting. She had such a good experience at Red Wolf, she joined a local box at home! Now, almost a year since I walked into Red Wolf, I cannot believe I waited so long to join a CrossFit gym. The changes and improvements to my lifestyle are numerous, so I’ll share what I consider to be the most drastic. I have NEVER been a morning person. In college, I would never schedule a class earlier than noon if I could get away with it (and often slept through my 8am classes…sorry mom). Red Wolf recently started a Barbell Club in the evenings, so, in an effort to do both the Barbell Club and CrossFit workouts, I decided to try going to the weekday 5am CrossFit class. I had so much fun in those first few “Dawn Patrol” classes, I’ve made it a habit. If you had told me a year ago that I would be voluntarily waking up before 4:30am 4x a week to workout (and then going back in the evening)…I would have laughed so hard in your face. That’s how awesome the atmosphere is at Red Wolf…It’s made this perpetual night owl a productive morning person!I’ve always been someone that tries to surround myself with people who will make me better. Show up, say hi, work your butt off and I bet you’ll love this place as much as I do.

Skip the rest and come to the best!! I have been a member for about a month now and can honestly say this is the best gym in HB! The coaches are well educated and know their craft members are friendly and the equipment is well kept after. I came in with an injury and was a little nervous at first but the coaches are able to work with athletes of all abilities and I am seeing myself get stronger and stronger every day. Join the pack!

I can’t say enough positive things about Red Wolf Crossfit.I started Crossfit in South County in 2012 but took over a year off due to moving and Job issues. When I was ready to go back I was living in Huntington Beach and asked a friend who competes where I should go. Without hesitation he told me go to Red Wolf. I am so happy I listened. The staff is wonderful and knows what they are talking about. They will always let me know when my form isn’t spot on and explain what I can and should be doing to correct it. Correct form and safety always come first with the coaches and that’s how I know I’m in good hands. With that being said they also know how to push me to get better and better. There is no point in going if I’m not working to get better. The gym and equipment are clean and up to date! And the Members are supportive of each other. No one leaves the floor until everyone is done. And no matter how tired everyone is from the WOD they cheer on the last person until everyone is done. It’s a great community that I’m really happy to be a part of!

I have had a wonderful experience at Red Wolf over the last year. There's a great sense of community with acceptance of all levels of fitness and experience! There's no division between the more competitive athletes and people like my mom who joined up at the beginning of the year. Very welcoming and encouraging environment and I've made a ton of progress since being there.

Red Wolf Crossfit is excellent. After our first visit we could sense the community of the gym and it's members. We dropped in for the noon class and we were welcomed by the owner at the front desk. Kelly was the coach for our class and was friendly and approachable. We would recommend red wolf to anyone that is dropping in or looking to begin crossfit.

I was recently visiting Orange County and went to Red Wolf Crossfit to scope out the gym and see what they were offering. I was immediately impressed with the gym and the coaches I was speaking with. I started working out the next day and continued everyday for the rest of the week. This gym has an amazing atmosphere and great coaches that are constantly motivating you to continue through the workout. I gained a lot from the coaches during the olympic weightlifting classes. The coaches were always there to make sure you could complete the lifts correctly, then continue to advance and try to perfect every lift as much as possible. I highly recommend this gym, and will definitely be back when I visit the area again.

I am a non member but come to this facility when they offer FREE workshops to allow the athlete to better themselves on moves they are weak on. They also offer Paleo seminars which are very infomative if you're new to the diet or just want to know more about it from someone that is expereinced and is currently living that lifestyle. The coaches are great. They are nice and don't mind taking the time to focus on you if you feel that you are having a difficult time on a specific movement. All coaches seem to have been trained very well, they all instruct the same warm up techniques, as well as, their cool down and mobility post WOD. Before they start the WOD they demonstrate each move on an athlete which I think is better so that I am not only hearing it from them, but I am able to see it as well, which is great if you are a visual learner.Their facility is huge and can accomodate to a big class. There is enough equipment so you're not having to wait on anything or anyone. They also keep the box tidy and organized. The bars are clean, squat rack and pull up bars are, as well, and they have a fully stocked and clean bathroom so you're not left stranded without toilet paper or paper towel. If you are new and want to check out what CrossFit is all about, or you are an existing CrossFit athlete looking to better yourself on all levels, then I would go check out Red Wolf CrossFit. Trust me, you'll not only be in awe of the huge space and colorful Rogue plates, but you'll get sucked in by the humbleness and kindness from the coaches and athletes.
