In the past, I had done my own cardio and weights but I wanted someone with expert knowledge to get me to the next level. In joining the Training Spot, I got that and a lot more. I’ve been working with Aaron for eight weeks now and I can already feel a difference with my workouts that I couldn’t get on my own. He varies the exercises constantly and customizes them for my goals and for how my body feels on a given day. Aaron has a great knack for knowing when and how to push me in a way for me to succeed, not fail. He’s also super patient with all my questions on what and why we are doing things so I am confident that I am optimizing my time during the workouts. I like that he doesn’t hover over me and I know he’s paying attention with comments from across the floor and occasional 1x1 time too. In addition to that, I’ve connected with many other staff there and chat about making sure my nutrition is in sync with my workouts and my goals. Everyone is friendly and listens and we find time to talk about life in general. It’s a great small family.

I joined the t spot in January of this year. After spending the last 8 years either pregnant or breastfeeding one of my three children, to say I neglected fitness was a gross understatement. I ate rather healthy but was still left tired, holding on to weight and lacking strength.I knew I had to do something if I wanted to be the mother I wanted to be and the person I wanted to take into the next decades of my life. A trainer at a box gym wouldn’t work for me. I’d never stick to going to classes. I looked for an alternative and stumbled upon the T Spot.I joined when the kick start program was about to begin (lucky coincidence!). I was skeptical, especially because after dealing with an eating disorder for my teens and early 20s, I simply don’t diet or restrict as a rule. I was nervous for more than not being able to hack it. I was nervous for my mental well being.Needless to say, I was more than pleased with the program. It is a nutrition plan, not a diet. It does exactly as it advertises: it is a way of life that maximizes your own body’s potential to operate at its peak performance level. And - you lose weight and inches! In the first two weeks of kick start, I lost an inch off my jeans size.As for the strength training portion of my program, I have never felt in more capable hands. All of the staff are knowledgeable. The workouts vary and keep me interested.If I were ever worried about motivation, my trainer Evan has it covered. He cheers me on. Encourages me. Checks in with me. And best of all, deals with my disorganization around my erratic schedule!The whole premise of the T Spot is simply to help you succeed in your health goals. They’ll stop at nothing to get you there! It has been my pleasure and a blessing to have found a place that I could begin and continue to grow my fitness journey. Thank you T Spot!

I wasn't getting the results I wanted and was feeling quite frustrated and I knew it was time for a change. So I decided to start with The Training Spot.I have been at The Training Spot for 4 months now and the results have been nothing short of amazing. I have significant muscle growth and look the best I have in years. Aaron and the staff are more than just trainers. They create a fun, enjoyable, family environment with clients of all ages. I actually look forward to my time in the gym now!
