Get in a workout and have a hard time breathing???? No thank you!!! Maybe they don't realize this but for rookies like me who actually have to work hard to climb this just isn't an option. My wife and I never imagined we'd need to wear a mask at a gym but I guess these gyms don't need our money. Assuming they took the free money the government is handing out since they are the only gym that requires a mask.

Great facility, friendly community, and responsible staff. Highly recommend if you are deciding between the few climbing gyms in the area.

I climbed for the first time here last week. They have super friendly staff, a great community, and a strong emphasis on safety. I would recommend EPIC to anyone in the area who is looking for a place to climb with great people!

Epic is a fantastic place to climb and get away for a minute. Especially during these times(also everyone wears masks :) ). The staff is fantastic. Everyone is super knowledgeable and friendly. The routes are great, and always updated. Thanks Scott and staff!!!!!!

As a first-time climber, the staff was very friendly and clear on instructions! It's also great that other patrons were helpful and friendly too.PS I'm a fan of the tattoo sleeve and the shirt that matched the shoes 😁

Ive been a member here for two years. The staff are great in every way from customer service to routesetting and general climbing knowledge. Your are not a customer to them but family!Additionally, it pains me to see them suffering for backlash simply for adhering to covid recommendations from the CDC. Unlike a lot of gyms around here they care about your safety and i can not understand how that is a bad thing...

EPIC isn't my usual climb gym but I do like making the trip over to climb with friends. Staff are very friendly and the sets are a lot of fun. Sorry to see the new 1 star reviews because they are following Marion county rules and some people are salty about having to wear a mask.

I've been climbing at Epic for about 2.5 months. In that time, I've met most of the staff and had multiple amazing conversations with them about climbing, sports, and just general banter. They have been extremely welcoming and supportive of new climbers and have gone out of their way to make me a better climber. I've gotten advice from Keegan, McKenna, and Scott, and Nate and Lloyd have both actually worked with me at length to make me a better climber. I've gone from falling off 5.8 routes to completing 5.10b routes and I credit a lot of that to the staff being so willing to help, watch, and critique me.

Great place. Great people. I'm a new climber and my husband and I went here with some friends today and everything was very straight forward and easy to learn. The monthly membership is pretty pricey. But with the access and exercise you get its completely worth it.

My family and I joined Epic a little less than a year ago and we love climbing together! My son is 7 and has grown so strong and confident! We have felt so supported and encouraged by the staff but also the other members! Strongly encourage visiting!
