The Ayurvedic Wellness Center and the teachings of yoga + Ayurveda have changed my life, and I can truly think of no better teacher than Kara. Not only is she an impeccable channel for the teachings, but she and the Ayurvedic Wellness Center provide all the goods and services to make such a fulfilling, Ayurvedically-aligned life possible. The space is peaceful, healing, and the apothecary is thoughtfully curated and carries everything Ayurveda, from body care items to pantry items, and my all-time favorite incense, Green Rose! The Ayurvedic treaments have been a game-changer, too, and having a practitioner who is mindful and intuitive has helped guide my journey. The fact that this one-stop-shop for yoga + Ayurveda is in my home of Kalamazoo makes me feel deeply grateful!

Welcoming, healing, mentoring, uplifting, wisdom-sharing, life-affirming...Kara has created a space that supports knowledge, community, and healing and one that inspires self-learning and wisdom. She and her team share a common spirit - they are warm and welcoming, gifted in their respective areas of expertise, and support the well-being of all who cross the threshold of the Ayurvedic Wellness Center. Such a treasure to have in our local community and with offerings also available online. We are truly blessed to have the sacred teachings of yoga and Ayurveda offered via so many course options and vehicles.I recently participated in Kara's Yoga & Ayurveda Retreat to Kerala, India. Words fail to describe the fullness of this experience! I'm still waking and dreaming with its many gifts and reverberations.... Kara thoughtfully curated our experience from start to finish - with lots of space for the Shakti to have Her own say. We laughed, we cried, we learned, we tasted, we bonded. It was an experience of delight and exploration for all the senses as well as a deep, deep dive to the inner realms of the heart. I will readily journey again at the first opportunity! Thank you Kara and my Devi sisters for such a treasured gift this lifetime!

The Ayurvedic Wellness Center is an amazing place filled with supportive and well informed people. The products are intentionally chosen to best serve your needs, the daily oil massage kit is especially amazing. The classes and events provide a wide variety of educational experiences, and are taught by knowledgeable and compassionate teachers. Couldn’t be happier with my experience there.

The support, the community and the learning has been life giving for me. Kara and her team share their gifts with all who are looking for a place unlike any other in Kalamazoo and beyond. What a gift to have this Ayurvedic Wellness Center here in MI!Had my 1st Acupressure Marma treatment here recently - it was so lovely and relaxing!! As soon as I was done I booked another appointment with Kara! She is so skilled and so knowledgeable.Also had a consult with her, as I wanted holistic support to help me address a few health issues I had, and found the perfect practitioner in Kara! I am sleeping better, have more energy and feel the benefits of continuing to work with the protocols she recommended specifically for me. I look forward to many more visits here - when time permits, want to try her Yoga offerings as well.
