UPDATE***Just so you know, the PF app is reflecting lake forest as a 24 hour gym. This is why I was surprised when I got there and the hours were not the same.—————Love this gym. It’s hit or miss on the bathrooms being clean. Also, why’d you guys change your hours?

Planet Fitness is the most affordable facility. I am ok that there are no pool, sauna, or classes, i.e., silver & fit, Activefit, etc. I have gone to other fitness centers where those benefits were available, and I never used them. The price is right. The hours are right. Good job, Planet Fitness.

There aren't too many mirrors here so you will be waiting in turn to use some equipment such as the tricept pull downs and arms. There are no bench presses. The cleaning is not certified or and or it doesn't look professionally clean. Always finger prints on windows and loose hairs in lockers. Knobs of lockers not being santized. Sometimes staff doesn't stock paper towels when notify, So I have to walk across the gym to get more paper towels.Overal this is a cheap cheesey gym. The hydro massage table is awesome well kept.Overall I hope they improve on thier cleaniness. Please stop hiding the dust and dirt under the machines. Thank you!

I've been a member of 24 hour and LA Fitness for about 27 years. I'm still a member of both. I recently joined PF in Lake Forest because it is closer to home, clean, new, and I can assess what time of day I'd like to workout by looking at the "crowd meter". Let's just say, I haven't visited LA or 24 hour fitness one time since joining PF! The environment is low key and I enjoy the fact that members don't stand around taking photos of themselves in the mirrors, let alone walk around the gym staring at themselves and flexing non stop. I've found that social media seems to promote narcissism, and PF provides an environment of humility with their "no judgment, no critics, lunk" lingo. Location, cleanliness and availability of equipment are factors that I've come to appreciate about PF in Lake Forest.

It's a great place for the beginning stages of working out / or getting back into work outs. It's calm and pieceful and you don't have to worrie about the heavy hitters pushing there way around, everyone their dose there own thing. Friendy people, so if you need advise or help with anything just ask someone or the Staff and they assist. The equipment is pretty standard, nothing fancy or flashy. Thier are more machine type equipment then standard (Free Waights). It's a clean facility an is decent in its size. (Medium Standard) The control meter for capacity is always at low level, so it is rarely busy which makes movement nice and simple. Simple in my opinion and views, it's worth experience for the price. I prefer the black card over standard, it's nice getting those little extra perks. Come on down and give us a try and join the family PF for yourself. Injoy.

Corner of the shopping center.Plenty of parking spots. The showers are not the cleanest, that is why I am giving 4 and not 5. But all other aspects are 5 start.

I started to go to this facility about 3 weeks ago. Although the facility is new and beautiful, the bathrooms and showers were completely unacceptable. Trash overflowing, showers and shower changing rooms filthy. I asked the front desk who replied, "We just had to fire our custodian for sleeping on the job". I mentioned i had been to other PF in other areas and other states and that the employees are on schedules to check and clean the bathrooms on their shifts". He looked shocked. I asked how often shower were cleaned and he had no idea, said maybe 1-2 xs week?Next visit spoke with manager who is looking into ways to fix the problem. She did seem very helpful. The bathrooms started to at least have garbage emptied, but they still had not cleaned the showers and the shower curtains were filthy and smelled. This is unacceptable from a health and safety standpoint. Now the shower drains are plugged and have been for over a week. Again, unacceptable from a health and safety standpoint. The employees never took the opportunity of information to get up and go clean. They hang out at the front desk and don't seem to move.Management: Please tell me what your protocol is in So Cal for Cleaning Bathrooms? What exactly is required? Your employees don't seem to know. I have been to multiple PF in CA and Vegas and they all \have protocol for employees to clean on shift as well as monthly deep cleaning nights with all employees. They use a cleaner that attached to a hose that sprays down all tile and group a couple times a week as well. Please look into setting a standard to adhere to, so your members can count on that. I appreciate it.

The new Lake Forest location is wonderful. Very clean and kept up. Most of the staff is very friendly and courteous. Manager is very nice and always alert to anything that may need attention. All equipment and machines are in top condition. Highly recommend this location.

Always clean, friendly associates, and a proper temperature for working out. I left other gyms as they were too hot. I’ve visited several planet fitnesses. They are always a good 68 degrees. Never too hot. Solid place to lift weights. Lots of cardio equipment. Only $10 a month on average.
