If I could rate this gym with no stars I would! I live in a nice community in Lakeland and all our families have a sense of community and have helped each other for many years. My neighbor’s son is looking to improve his life in all aspects, and one is in fitness. This gym literally turned him away because the Lakeland Police Department cops who are members told the management they don’t want him as part of this organisation’s community!! What type of business is this that discriminates against it’s patrons? If I don’t look the part, act the part, or “fit” in with the profile prescribed by its members??? I mean is this the Lakeland Yacht Club??? This is a pity and a shame of any business this day in age! I will check the BBB rating of this so called business, as should it function as a business if it turns away a willing paying customer!!

Today marks my one year anniversary at CFL! When I made the decision to join I was barely getting out of bed everyday. I was severely overweight and experiencing some pretty terrible PPD. Coming to the gym started to be something I made myself get up to go and do. Being able to have fun, socialize and bring my kids made all the difference for me. The people are so welcoming and wonderful. This gym truly brought me back to life and I’m so grateful. 1 year 30 lbs and a whole bunch of butt kickings later, I couldn’t imagine not coming to this gym everyday!

I visited CFL for 3 months while wintering in Lakeland from Canada. CFL is full of inspiring,happy, healthy,motivated people who offer encouragement and motivation to others in the class. The coaches are A+, -very friendly,knowledgeable and enthusiastic offering good technical support. A very welcoming place to keep fit. Well run Mike and Kim!
