Member for around 5 years. Was paying for my just turned 18 step sons membership. Cancelling both now because contracts are more important than human morals. High pressure sales tactics and shoving personal training down a kids throat on my debit card. Sad because I really enjoyed this gym. You would think with how packed the gym always is there would be plenty of legit leads to work for training services. My step son is a very quiet kid. While he should have stood his ground through your rebuttals and two option closes, you know exactly what you did. Slimey sales. And every time you call to explain the situation you get scripted robot responses. They might be NPCs.

This overall company is a scam. Do not sign anything without demanding to see the documentation. The employees are obviously trained by the GM to withhold information and not truly explain what you are signing. When you ask for a 1 800 number to speak with corporate you will be told there is not one.There are many other gyms that are family opened and do not participate in these scam tactics.

Today will mark my last day as a member at Crunch. I've withdrawn my membership after about 5 years at the Seminole location. Been a loyal member since its inception and have recommended friends and family. My decision to leave came as a result of a bullying incident that was ignored and swept under the rug. Here are the facts: a few months ago, while working out with my 20 year old son, another member twice as big and half as young, tried to cut in front of me. When I refused, he cast some expletives and threatened bodily harm. Long story short, grievance was filed but nothing done. No effort at explaining why this serious matter was never taken seriously. Even after repeatedly asking for the status, or someone to at least contact me. Maybe now?

Allowed people to film in the locker room numerous times. When I brought this up, nothing was done and the people at the front just kept chatting. I watched them for about 10 minutes until the filmers walked out.

When joined they never told me of the charges I would be having $54 then 18 every month pluse $10 just be careful ask lots of questions

This gym is nice but doing customer service(front desk) remember to explain to the customer what they need to know.

Patti met with me for my assessment before starting my workout sessions. She understood me like no one else before with my goals. I'm excited to have her in my corner. Honestly, everyone is great.

Maybe this will reach the franchise owners - I am seeking a new gym so naturally I read the reviews. Seeing review after review of issues canceling their membership and owner responses confirming memberships are canceled in person deterred me and my partner.I wrote a review but countless others looking for a new gym just moved on. So if forcing gym members to sign a cancellation in person so you can squeeze more money out of them is worth losing new customers, congrats-you are doing exactly that.

I’ve been going to this gym since it opened and if you like being harassed & stared at by creepy old men the entire time you’re working out then this is the gym for you! I was so happy to cancel my membership because of this. It wasn’t like this at first but over the past couple years it’s gotten so bad, I guess because it’s so crowded now. Also my neighbor was paying $24.99 while they charged me $32.99 for the exact same membership. Talk about scammers. I do not recommend.
