They advertise $9.99 monthly and 4c to join, but the total amount (including the 'yearly fee') they will charge you during the first year (and actually every year ...) is $266 and that is probably not even including the $2.25 monthly "processing fee" or credit card fees. Hence rather calculate some $30 per month with their cheapest option instead of the advertised $9.99. Other people would call this a scam ...

If you do decided to go to Crunch avoid Shawn, totally lied to my cousin who was visiting for two months to get him to sign up instead of just paying for individual visits like we wanted since he was only coming a few or couple times (during December 6 to February 6) but he got him to sign up anyway with the promise to waive the annual fee as long as we cancelled before the two month mark which would have been Feb 6 and that way only three month cycles would be billed. He cancelled Feb 2 and go figure they charged him the annual fee right after and wouldn't refund, the reason... "they charge that fee to everyone" somehow Shawn didn't remember anything about a "special note in the system" ...we sure did! After going there for years because a friend wanted me to join I finally had it with the crowdedness & dirtiness. Bad tactics to get you to do more memberships for friends visiting so I decided to make a switch to another gym. Easy move as I was already tired of the gym. Friends cancelled as well and moved on to Planet fitness, much better gym in my opinion and don't have to wait for people to get off their phone in every machine! My work outs have improved and saved time not having to wait for people sitting around on the machines or benches using their phones instead on working out.

Love the gym and the classes. Wish more night classes. Women's shower room needs some help. Almost ZERO water pressure and no where to set your bag or clothes. Sauna timer has been broken for ever as well.

My fiancé and I were on vacation this past week and we purchased guest passes for the week. This gym is great. Very spacious, lots of equipment and very friendly staff. Will definitely come back here on our next trip.

What a sour experience over a very simple thing… and here is why. Yesterday, after giving it much thought I decided to visit this location (Crunch Seminole). I previously was an active member of Crunch St. Pete but due to myself moving into a new place, unfortunately I had to cancel my membership with them, not taking into consideration the nearest Crunch (in Seminole) because of the long drive within this location and my place to continue my contract with Crunch. After all, I still wanted to give it a shot just because i like the gym and was more likely willing to sacrifice the commute. My only wish was to try this location for a normal hour of training to experience the environment and the new layout (to me) seeking for the right fit to maintain my contract with Crunch. As I enter the establishment a young lady at the front desk greats me, i proceed to scan my membership to which she mentions that is only good at the St. Pete location. I begin to explain to her my situation about moving to a new area, the drive and why I wanted to try this location since i have never been there. Willing to perhaps continue my contract rather than cancelling it. She seemed ok with me trying it ‘UNTIL’ during our conversation a young boy (coworker) out of the nowhere abruptly interrupts the conversation without any formal greeting (lack of manners) and with a bitter unprofessional attitude, to rudely say, YOU CANNOT TRY, YOU HAVE TO PAY, TO TRY or ACTIVATE WITH THEM IF WANTED TO TRY (like he was talking to his dog).Since Crunch always offers free trial, I would imagine this would not be such a deal to allow someone that has never been at that location (looking to maintain contract) to just try the new premises. I replied to him if he’s sure that I can just at least see the gym? To which he just proceeded to completely ignore me and talk to someone else disregarding my existence. So, without saying anything else, I just left the gym, now with a whole other perspective about Crunch staff. The lack of manners, professionalism, customer service and bitter rude attitude of this person deterred me completely from continuing my contract with Crunch. I understand this guy is not paid to think but a good salesman or any person really with some manners and customer service would have at least said, “My apologies for the inconvenience Sir, we would love to have you here, let me see what I can do for you”. Maybe this would have had a different more positive outcome, instead of the sour experience I was left with over such simple thing.

Went from 5 stars on day 1 to 1 star after 2 years due to a complete lack of upkeep, but I’ve recently returned and I’m back up to 4 stars for this location. They’ve painted the place, added a cycling class, and tons of new equipment. I would say I am impressed but I expected these kinds of upgrades to the gym over time, not nothing for years then all at once everything is upgraded. It would be 5 stars if they converted to a 24/7 gym. I would love to stay at this gym, but gyms like this omit night shift people by closing at 11 or 7pm on the weekends. And making this gym would alleviate rush hour traffic. As of right now, this location just keeps selling memberships and you cannot fit more and more people into specific hours; it makes for a frustrating gym experience where we are all on top of each other and waiting for equipment. The writing is on the wall; I cannot understand management’s balking when other locations are 24 hours.

I train with Alli and she is the best! So thoughtful and really cares about your goals and shows you how to get there! She always says “all you have to do it show up and I’ll do the rest”. It’s so true she’s honestly the best couldn’t recommend her more!

Dont do it. They are thieves,. I never stepped foot in this gym and they continue to charge and charge and charge even after 3 people have now canceled my account. Be aware of your changing room surroundings with this crew.

This place is a scam DO NOT sign up with them!! They tell you it’s a deal for just 1$ but then when you try to cancel they make u pay 100$ Plus to do so!! I have never even been into any location, I paid the 1$ and didn’t have time to go I was billed for the 1st monthly payment of 24$, when I called to cancel I was told I had to come in and sign a paper when I got there I was told I had to another pay 53$ for an annual fee and another 24$ for next months payment in advance I order to cancel when I have never even stepped foot in this gym a day in my life!! They were rude and I was told to call Bryan at a different location. Bryan said that he would figure it out and call back and it has been a week and nothing still!! I do not recommend this place to they are just here to scam you out of your money!!!

I have been coming to this Gym for over a year, and slowly they have been renovating the place. These renovations may be great for some people, specifically beginners who rely on machines, but over time the gym has made less and less space for people who do any floor related movements (pushups, planks, the list goes on…), calisthenic training, or plainly just trying to stretch before a work out.Their “Stretching Zone” is being used as storage, all the nooks and crannies I’ve been sticking to have been filled with more equipment. Not only is there no room to have a free body in this gym, I truly believe the capacity of equipment they’ve obtained over this renovation is actually dangerous. People are on top of each other, the equipment acts as obstacles in the way of the exits. There was a FIRE in this building recently and I fear for people if it happens again, and can’t be as easily controlled.I am not angry, for I understand they are trying to improve the gym, but I am disappointed that space for movement and overall safety has been sacrificed. I am not the only one that feels this way. Perhaps management/the owners should have a survey.
