I love it here! The machines work great and they have alot to choose from. I only took a star, for something petty, tbh. Just sometimes the employees seem a little aloof. Nothing too bad though

This gym is nice and clean compared to other gym chains I've been to. Most everyone wiped down their equipment before leaving. My only issue would be with the cardio section, specifically the treadmills. I am trying to get into running consistently and the treadmills don't have the best versatility for that. Meaning the buttons on the machine are hard to push and when I am tired and want to slow down there is no gradual decrease. I wish they had levers to decrease and increase speed and incline. I am also a plus size female and I tried jogging on the treadmill and the entire track jerked multiple times no matter which machine I used.

Since my initial post a year or so ago this planet fitness had made many changes upgrading the equipment. It definitely is a lot cooler inside as it used to be. They still are short on 45 lb weights for the Smith machines and the leg press. If you need more than 245 lb weights you have to go take it from the other machines. Other than that babe fixed all my previous concerns and are up to four star.The Planet Fitness is in a nice shopping plaza and easy to access. Not that I'm here to hang out with the staff but when I entered and exited nobody greeted me or said goodby as I left.One of the main reasons I give this only two stars is the equipment is older and the leather coverings on the equipment have cracks and are deteriorating.I was pleased This Planet Fitness had a leg press machine. This is also known as a leg sled where you put actual weights on the machine for pressing. The only drawback to this is there are three Smith machines and a leg press machine. They have a grand total of fourteen 45 lb weights.This equated to 8:45 lb weights for the leg press total and four 45 lb weights for each Smith machine. I am not some big bodybuilder guy but when I was doing a leg press and needed more weights there was none to be had. I had to go scrounge some 25 lb weights. By doing so it takes up more room and I was very limited to the maximum amount of weight I could put on the machine. I would like to see them bye at least four more 45 lb weights.The temperature outside was probably in the high 80s, low '90s and it was very warm inside the gym. They put their cardio machines by the front window and the radiating Heat makes this area very warm. They have very small ceiling fans and it causes an excessive amount of heat in this area. The only cool place inside the business was in the bathroom.

I noticed today while working out, the guy with a polo (I’m guessing the new manager) mopping the floors. There’s a first time for everything and for him to come in and lead by example in this way is amazing. Shows what kind of gym he’s looking to run!

It took a few days for someone to clean the horrible urine odor near the urinals. Also why did drinking water tap take months to fix? There are alleged non-members in men's locker selling their holistic services. Need separate stretching padded section like Kenneth city planet gym. They have large 8x15 approximately area for at least 3 members can stretch on 2 inches thick coated padding. At times there have been members grouping together and just talk too long. Forgive me I have an injured painful back which limits my gym movements.

I am just a beginner but find that PF suits my current needs. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly. I did try to book a meeting with a PT to have a personalized routine created. I alerted the staff and waited 10 minutes but was never helped (thank you Muscle & Fitness). My only other gripe is there are only four stair mills, one of which has been broken since I signed up. It would be nice if they could remove 2 or 3 treadmills/ellipticals to satisfy demand as they are always taken.Edit: there is now only 1 working stair Mill in the facility.👍🏼

They literally only have 4 free weight benches, haven't fixed their water fountain in two months, normally tanning here isn't a problem for me , but now you have to pay five dollars for the reusable winkies that literally break within the first two uses everytime , because they got rid of the free stickers. When I asked the guy didn't they used to be 2$ he lied and said no. Two stars is strictly for the equipment being in good condition.

It's a great gym- clean, never packed, fairly friendly staff. The only complaint I have is something is always breaking and it takes them along time to fix .... 2 stair masters haven't worked in over a month. The water refill fountain just got repaired after weeks. Now it's the showers, no hot water ...

I was in town visiting for the week and chose Planet Fitness Palm Harbor to workout for my time here. The staff are extremely kind and friendly. The facility is clean, plenty of cardio machines and workout stations. I would recommend this gym to anyone visiting or looking for a gym in the area! Thank you Planet Fitness Palm Harbor!

I tried other clubs, including Planet Fitness when selecting a place to join. I love Planet Fitness: the hours, location and value for money are great. It offers a range of activities so I can vary my program which keeps me motivated. The staff are friendly and the equipment is maintained and clean.
