I love my gym but I would love it more if you guys were open until 11 during the week as you were prior to COVID. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Not a fan of the fees they like to charge but that is no fault of the location itself. They seemed to help as best they can in my experience.

ATTENTION: I strongly advise against registering at this gym. Upon signing up and providing your bank account or card number, they will start withdrawing money from your account without your knowledge. They impose hidden fees, fabricate personal trainer charges, and more. If you question them about these unauthorized withdrawals, they will claim that you unknowingly signed a membership agreement. In my experience, they took $281 from my account before I even set foot in the gym. I highly recommend staying away from them.

I had always read reviews for Texas Family Fitness about financial difficulties with this location, and shrugged them off, assuming the people writing those reviews had done something wrong or didn’t read documents correctly. Until it happened to me!I went in to cancel my membership 3 years ago when I moved away from the area. Within the past month, I received a phone call from a debt collector informing me that I owe over $500 to for unpaid monthly membership costs. When I called this location in The Colony, they simply said I never canceled, confirmed the $500+ in missed dues, and asked me if I had printed proof of cancelation. No calls. No written correspondence. Nothing to let me know they were charging fees for those years. So I called the location in Little Elm/Frisco. The man I talked to on the phone said I had in fact canceled my membership, and they couldn’t find any records of missed payments to the previous location. They then helped me reach TFF corporate help.I’ve had their head office involved in this process, and they’re assisting me in erasing this debt as, once again, there is zero record of missed payments on my actual account. You don’t need to go through all of this. There are several gyms in the area that treat you professionally and won’t attempt to financially ruin you.If you’re dealing with this same issue, I’ve also been informed this is a low impact debt. Should you choose not to pay this debt, it will likely have zero effect on your credit score, and will vanish from your credit report within 3-5 years. Up to you!
