Highly recommend Prevail! One of the best class workouts I've ever been to and it's extremely addicting. All the people there are incredibly nice. And you'll definitely be sore the next day. Such a good workout.

I tried prevail through class pass but I ended up buying a few extra classes since class pass only allows 3/month at any given gym. 3 is not nearly enough at prevail. It's a really great work out in a super positive and motivating environment. Everyone on staff that I've met are so nice, it's super clean, and the music is good :)

So let me start off with the type of membership i purchased "One month unlimited classes: $249" Such a scam! Don't fall in this trap like i did. I was looking to find a boxing built with cardio type of gym and thought this was the spot not knowing i buried myself in a ditch. The first two days of me attending the class i got the vibe that this place is established to have a bunch of model chicks running around thinking they know what they're doing. Throwing jabs, crosses and hooks the incorrect way. I was upset knowing that I was not being showed the proper way to throw a punch and seeing all these girls and members coming into class wasn't being showed the proper way either. So after this first week i ended up injuring my wrist with the crappy loaner gloves and wraps they supplied. After class that day i spoke with one of the girls working the desk that day and mentioned my concerns and the reply back i got was unbelievable "Go home and checkout youtube for some boxing tips" Well HELLO why did i come here just to sweat????! NO i came here to get a great boxing workout and learn the proper footwork and stance for boxing in addition learn the correct way of throwing a punch. Lets get to the music part which was playing a techno mix of Katy Perry style music which turned it into a teenage club like atmosphere. I decided to stop attending the scheduled classes because the owner and trainers insists on having the music turned so loud. Several complaints have been made by me to the girls at the desk which i think they don't care to tell the owner or the owner seems to not care in the least. This is the second week that i've been at the class and today after injuring my wrist because all the trainers and owner have a lack of understanding that clients really need to know how to throw proper punches. Last but not least the gloves they provided for me to use have a really bad odor which doesn't go away by dinner time and i puked last night after it hit my nostrils while i was having SUSHI at Nobu Malibu. I've canceled my membership at Prevail and could care less to ask for a refund. I found a new gym called GLOVEWORX in Santa Monica which has high standards in all aspects of the gym and teaching class.
