For a little over a year I have been working out at CrossFit Covalence and it has been a great experience. The coaches at the gym are very welcoming and friendly and always seek to help you become a better athlete. In addition, the coaches value following proper CrossFit standards and help incorporate different exercises for athletes to help avoid certain common CrossFit injuries. In addition to this, the gym has a great community with caring members who always make you feel welcome and who help make even your worst days better. The gym also frequently hosts hangouts such as cookouts at the gym for members and their friends and families. The gym features a large spread of equipment in great shape, with the gym itself always being clean and well kept. Joining this gym not only helped me get fit again, but also became one of the things I look most forward to each day and has allowed me to make many new friends along the way. I would highly recommend CrossFit Covalence for anyone looking for a great box in Louisville!

Visited CrossFit Covalence today as a drop in visitor from out of town. The coach was very welcoming and went out of his way to make my sister and I feel welcome. Helped me with a modification which I requested due to shoulder mobility. Nice community of people, good parking, nice size facility.

Covalence is the mom and pop shop you want out of a CrossFit gym. It's where my CrossFit journey started and built such a strong foundation after I moved to a different city. A place that can push you to be better and provide a community for you to grow. Can't speak any more highly of this place and its people.

I felt highly positive and motivational vibes from the second I enter to get some information. Everyone in there is so welcoming and kind. Dan is a phenomenal profesional who is helping me with my forms and workout routines. I highly recommend his Elements classes. It’s an investment to your body and knowledge. You will definitely feel the “high” after each session. I’m so glad to joined CrossFit Covalence and have a more positive perception of the workouts.

I have spent the last 2 weeks here as a drop-in while in town visiting family. The programming was fantastic, challenging, and intentional. The coaching was fundamentals-focused. Everyone was super welcoming. Johnny is the man. I would recommend CrossFit Covalence to anyone traveling to Louisville or anyone already in Louisville looking for a new gym home.

I'm from out of state, I was in Louisville for an interview.I was looking for a quick WOD the day before the interview and googled CrossFit locations in town. Why I picked Covalence is because they had a perfect 5.0 star rating from 50 reviews. I thought that was most likely a good indicator of the atmosphere there. I wasn't disappointed in any wayI contacted Covalence about my situation for a drop in, and Alexa was very prompt in getting back to me; she let me know they'd be happy to have me, a variety of class times, and that the drop in fee was zero/the big goose egg/ FREE. Yea that's right, a free drop in.I was really pumped about that, respect it very much and think it epitomizes the purest culture of both what CrossFit is, and at Covalence. I was able to meet the co-owner Johnny, who reiterated and confirmed my good vibes about the place; great guy and just all around Louisville fan. I had a great class, they were able to work with me concerning a modification for a pectoral injury I'm still nursing. They attract a mostly younger demographic of all levels of CF experience, from beginners to regional athletes; all of them were however equally friendly and welcoming to visitors. Superb coaching from Jason; technically sound, and he operated with the right amount of concern for form yet with freedom to grind it out.I had to pick up some great looking swag, ta boot! (as seen above)Top marks for the folks at CrossFit Covalence, with love from El Paso, TX

I loved my experience dropping in at this box.I was in Louisville for a conference this past week and dropped in with a buddy twice. Dan is a super-knowledgable coach, and was there to help me scale the WOD a bit, and work on better form. Some boxes I've dropped in at have been a bit uncomfortable. But not CF Covalence. It was a perfect place for a 40 year old guy, crossfitting for a year, just desiring to build strength and be healthy. No judgment over my fitness level or ability - no criticism of ability, just helpful critique of form. A healthy concern for me to be better than yesterday.I think it is also the perfect place for more competitive athletes looking for serious coaching and training. Dan, I think, would be a great coach across the board.I loved this place, and when I'm back in Louisville, I'll be back at CF Covalence.

I was in downtown Louisville for a 3-day conference and dropped in twice to CrossFit Covalence. They have a generous drop-in policy and are a short drive from downtown Louisville. Johnny led both of my classes. He was awesome to talk to and made me feel welcome. The facility, the trainer, and the members were all great. And the workouts kicked my butt! Would definitely join if I lived there and will definitely drop in again when visiting Louisville.

This is an amazing box!I dropped in here a few times during my short trip to Louisville and I had a great time on each occasion. My first drop in, I got to meet the owners Dan and Johnny, who was also coaching my class. They were super nice and welcoming. It was the 12:30 class, which is one of their less busy ones, so I got to meet all the other people in the class and when I stayed to stretch after class, Johnny gave me some tips for food and things to do nearby :).I dropped into the afternoon and evening classes as well, and even though they had more people, it did not hurt the quality of the class; the coach still came by to make sure my form was correct and gave me tips on making it better. All the coaches and athletes were really friendly and welcoming, everyone cheered each other on during the WODs, they definitely have a great community.I had a blast and definitely will be coming back if I'm back in town again! If you're in Louisville, I can only recommend CrossFiit Covalence.
