What a beautiful facility! I go to see my doctor (Dr. Destiny Everidge, the best doctor I've ever experienced) here and am in awe of this beautiful building dedicated to make people's lives healthier, better and longer.

The facility is really nice (the republic Bank location). My son likes to play basketball there, he is 9. I'm disappointed that there isn't a designatated side of the court for younger kids. The adults/older teens typically play games on the first side (split by a divider) and then many come to the other side of the divider to shoot the ball as well. They don't take into consideration the smaller kids...they play rough, don't watch out for them when running the ball and curse and yell. I wish they had sinage to make one side 13 and under and had an associate there to enforce this. It makes it difficult to want to take him there to play when all you hear is foul language the entire time and you have to worry about them getting run over. The pool area is nice but there isn't much seating at all. With 5 families there you'd be lucky to have a seat.. I can't imagine a full house you'd have to stand or sit on the floor while your family swims. The best buy teen center upstairs is nice, my son enjoyed himself in there and the lady who runs it was really sweet. Overall it's a nice facility but a few changes could be implemented to make it great.

Love this YMCA, fun kids club with kind attendants and well maintained. Lots of great features, the family locker rooms are set up really well for when we go swimming to get our kids through the chaos of in and out of a swimsuit and showering.

My hubby and I LOVE going to workout at the YMCA (Republic Bank Foundation - 1720 West Broadway). We love the atmosphere of inspiration this Health Club offers. This location is well maintained and the YMCA team members are outstanding! There is an abundance of machines and free weights to utilize and we love the large indoor track and Olympic size pool. What a great place to achieve your health goals and have fun doing it! The membership director is outstanding and she is very caring about her team. Shoutout also to team member (George) who is a great coach and always helps members with their fitness goals. George also takes the time to show members how to properly workout on each machine to get the maximized health benefits! We highly recommend this YMCA location!
