I was looking to change up my gym routine and decided to check out the HQ. I expected another commercial gym like all the others in town. Upon walking in, I immediately recognized an accepting and judgment-free environment.Worth the drive from Verona. The gym is well-run. The owner Josh and staff are incredibly invested. The trainers are knowledgeable and there is a wide variety of equipment.I’m a regular gym-goer. I have a membership and also use personal training services at HQ. I’ve made more progress in my goals in the last six months than the previous 3 years.I didn’t find another commercial gym. I found a new home and community.

I've been going to gyms for about 30 plus years now and HQ Madison is truly one of a kind. Not only do they have a well equipped facility they have the best trainers in all of Madison. But one of the intangibles that separates this gym from all others is the energy from the staff and its members. Everyone is rooting for one another. The energy is contagious. I've never seen so many dedicated athletes in my life. The women in the gym are warriors. The men come right behind them. I'm being serious. I've always wanted to see what the female Vikings were like back in the day and now I know. Just being a small part of this gym has made my life a lot more fun. My trainer Jamison Huntly has helped my bench improve from 165 lbs to 225lbs for 3 reps in a few months. He's always motivated but more importantly he's disciplined. He makes my workout intense but fun at the same time. I used to dread Mondays but now it's my highlight of my week because of the training I get. It just sets the vibe for the whole week. Surround yourself with positive and energetic people and you will see your life improve steadily.
