TruFit Athletic Clubs - 10th St

Signed up for trufit yesterday 8/7/23 with my sister was scheduled for the first time session with Daniel Garza jr at 630am on 8/8/23 showed up at 530 hung around until 630 then he told us we weren’t on his schedule and he had a client coming in at 630 so couldn’t do our appointment stated despite us showing him in our app that we were schedule with him. He schedule us for 530pm on his phone right then and there realizing I would be off work later then expected I called with in the hour to reschedule us for 6 the person that answered said it wouldn’t be an issue but if it was Daniel would call me I didn’t receive a call so I called them at 545 to notify Daniel I was stuck In Traffic and would arrive at 605pm when I arrived Daniel was in a session with a client when we asked the front desk to just put us with any one available since it was already 620 and we had waited 15 min for Daniel they stated no one was answering them when we asked for the supervisor they stated he wasn’t around and there was no contact information when asked for corporates number they stated it was online do not recommend also when I signed up I got charged 70.08 to start they stated that was the 1$ offer they had when I brought my sister in 8 hrs later to sign her up she only got charged 1.08$ same membership still waiting to here from a supervisor on this and for a tour of the gym

Great customer service! I was taken care of by Lee and he did a wonderful job at explaining the costs, fees and even went out of his way to give me a tour of the facility despite this being my second time visiting. Being an active military member it gives me comfort knowing i’m still being taken care of despite where I am at, Tru Fit on 10th St will definitely be my go to whenever I am home visiting. Thank you Lee!

Very clean gym, brand new equipment, and very nice staff! Best gym you could go to for the price! Come in and ask for Lee he’ll get you set up!

I love the layout, staff is friendly, but the music in the Women’s only area is too loud, I can hear it through my headphones. Otherwise, I like the vibes at the gym, I feel comfortable to use the general area too which is more than I can say about gyms like Gold’s

Beware!! Read your contract! I was told by Daniel that my card would go through for a one time annual payment and because I didn't read the emailed contract I've been charged for months after the one year membership had expired. I always paid cash for that reason until this time. Lesson learned!! The people at the club, reluctant to help, just redirect to you to reach their corporate.I honestly feel scammed.

This is a great gym, only issue is that there is not enough equipment for the amount of people that show up. More people are more or less waiting around for something to open up, even equipment that could be a back. But over all it’s a great gym, respectful employees.

Amazing gym! Very big and spacious. Friendly staff and great trainers if you want to get in shape. Michael's training was very helpful. I would recommend asking for him on your next visit.
