My son and I train at BTT for the last 3 years. Our experience has been absolutely incredible in so many ways! First, Coach Edgard and all the coaches are top notch!!! They are very respectful, professional, and they cater to everybodys capability. There are no egos here, just family! We always feel welcome and its the highlight of our week! I love this gym! I've been training there for 7 years and absolutely love it. Professor Edgar Dutra is so knowledgeable and always professional. He cares about his students on and off the mat. Signed a six month contract, got charged 3 months that I wasn't going. Asked for contract and haven't received in over a month. Left a bad review on Facebook page and got multiple texts calling me names and cussing at me.

This place will overcharge you after the contract ends be careful. Also the trainers should practice there English because it is extremely hard to understand. The training is good and the people are nice but the actual management is not cooperative and not friendly.

This training gym is not closed down! It was relocated to an improved location right over the causeway. Edgrad is the real deal. Anyone looking to train, compete or just have some fun needs to check out the gym.

I've trained with BTT for over 6 months now. The people are fantastic and I've learned a lot. My daughter trains with the kids class and she loves it. Highly recommend this school.

I had good moments in the gym and made good friends. Some I will keep forever and will always miss. Unfortunately I had problems while leaving.I went to train at another gym 84 miles away with a friend and we posted a picture of the training. The jiu instructor from BTT was apparently very mad with this an called me while being very rude calling me a traitor.I guess not everyone can understand when you train at more than one gym, even if occasionally.I was kicked out of BTT and had also problems to cancel my contract. The contract was renewed without my agreement and a canceling one was proposed to me. The canceling contract was wrong, and would contain a part saying I should pay USS 250 to cancel, not taking into account that the contract term had already expired. When the instructor saw that I marked the wrong parts his assistant ripped the paper in front of me and said I should sign the original form. I said I would sign one without the mistakes.The instructor got mad and said I should leave or he would make me leave. I left, and will never come back.Beware.

I trained here in February 2016It was a very good experience the place has huge matt space and the instructors are laid back and very friendly.I got to roll with the Edgar and he gave me some great instruction that i was able to use immediately in my game.They also did not charge me a dime something that hasnt happened in every school ive visited.Cant wait for my next visit!

This is hands down the BEST BJJ school in Florida! I have moved away and have missed this school so much. You will not find authentic BJJ training anywhere else. Stay away from the McDojos if you want to be a successful fighter. BTT is one of the few schools that does group exercise. You will get in shape FAST. The instructor is so supportive and has a very friendly personality. You will love it here. Stop searching for a school because you just found the right one. Even military and law enforcement train here. I am considering moving back to Florida just to train again with my team because they are like no other ♡
