I am A brain tumor survivor and a disabled army veteran. When I was newly paralyzed and trying to raise money for TapCancerOut in Orlando which was raising money for kids with cancer. Edgard trolled me with his buddy Ron for a few days. He just now apologized because he realized I can update my review. The man is a narcissist. He’s a disgrace to Btt. I did five web sites for Btt including bttfl which I wrote every word of and when I asked him to support TapCancerOut he decided he had personal issues with me. So he trolled me on Facebook. I have screenshots of everything. Don’t trust your kids with him. He barely shows up. You’ll be lucky to see him once a week. One of the nicest people I met here in Florida. I met Professor Edgar in one of the Nagas championship here in Orlando and he received me in his gym like we were long time friends. Sadly I can't keep training with him because of the distance but he introduced me to another incredible professor here in Orlando.

Brazilian Top Team of Melbourne teaches authentic Brazilian Jiu Jitsu exactly as it's taught at BTT in Rio De Janiero, Brazil. Be prepared to work hard, be held to the expectations in your contract and become a part of something life changing. Also I see the issue of cleanliness raised in some of the reviews and it's simply not true. It's a gym, not a ballet class, someone is disgruntled and being petty.

One of the best gyms in Florida without a doubt. Great facility and incredible staff. Teachers are friendly and very knowledgeable. Sensei Edgard is one of the best teachers in the buisness.

I’m a black belt second-degree jiu-jitsu, training for more than twenty years. Last year I had the opportunity to visit Edgard's Academy. I can assure you that the jiu-jitsu taught there is similar to those of the best jiu-jitsu academies here in Brazil. I had the opportunity to train with several students of Edgard and all presented a great level of jiu-jitsu, both technical and philosophical, showing humility and respect to the opponent! Ive been taking classes with Professor Edgard Dutra from BTT since 2006 in Melbourne FL and this team has been a LIFE SAVER, the professor passion and dedication to this amazing sport changed my way I see my own life making me a better father, husband and co-worker. With their help I regained confidence, strain on my capacities, beaten depression and some other problems like losing close to 100 pounds of extra weight and other many blesses that come along.If you live in the area go take a class with prof.
