Crunch Fitness - Meridian

I have enjoyed going to this gym for a year. I unfortunately have been very busy lately and was unable to go enough to justify the membership fees. I went into the facility to cancel my membership, I talked to the manager he suggested I put the membership on hold for 6 months to see if my situation has changed. He assured me that I would not be charged during that time. Approx. a month later I was charged with the annual fee. I have been trying for the last week to get refunded the money, I have called several people and have been directed around in circles to contact somebody else. This has been a disappointment after enjoying my time there.

Not very clean and some staff isn't very friendly. But their steam room is super hot (unlike their sauna). I wish they had swimsuit spin dryers though. They have a ton of workout equipment and many classes that come with membership.

I have read through a lot of the reviews, I agree that the upgrades to this club have been good. The urgency of finishing however seems a little absent....I have worked in the health club field for a # of years and at the Meridian club there is something lacking.There is never anyone at the front desk engaging the members coming or going, if you had a question who do you ask? This has been like this for a few months.The #1 thing I know people appreciate is a clean gym...No antibacterial wipes available as they "were ordered"....theres a Fred myer on the next corner...All those fabulous new machines and they don't look like they get cleaned daily...I agree I go to workout and don't need lot of service, but it seems like there is never any staff there other than Jeff in the evenings...Please someone be there that cares about members and their guests... that's usually how memberships increase.ThanksJamie

They have been working on getting the gym set up with new equipment and paint so things lately have been a bit messy. However we love the workout environment, the other gym users are great and the staff is awesome!

I really love this gym because of how friendly everyone is. The classes are fun and they have lots to chose from. My favorite part though is that with a peak membership I can take a workout buddy every time I go and it doesn't have to be one specific person which works well with busy friends.

Still haven't seen a lot of the upgrades promised by the new management, but I'd imagine that's a corporate issue that the folks behind the desk here can't do anything about. But everyone I've interacted with here has been very friendly and helpful, and all the equipment is kept in good working condition. Can't ask for much more from a gym.

this place is terrible, signed up for a membership about 10 months ago and was not told it was a 12 month contract. i tried to cancel my membership after 6 months and they told me it would be cancelled and taken care of. the next few months crunch fitness was charging my account behind my back after telling me my membership would be cancelled. i’ve been charged over 150$ by them and they will not refund my money even though they are the ones who looked at my account and told me they would cancel it knowing i was in a contract. and they don’t care about there customers they are doing nothing to help me. don’t get robbed by crunch fitness!

Great value for membership rates! The weight room is fully equipped (including an Olympic lifting station, several bench presses, and TRX station) and they have tons of different cardio machines. The racquetball courts are super fun and the staff is pretty friendly. Overall it's been a great place to work out.

We have been members there since it was built and since Crunch took over, the improvements have been fantastic. They are still improving it even now! The staff is very friendly and helpful.We have recommended it to all our friends and family, and now our golf course, Plantation Country Club is affiliated with Crunch .I usually don’t write recommendations but I felt everyone needs to know what a fantasy club this is👍👍👍👍

I was nervous at first when Crunch fitness bought out IAC, but it's been awesome. So many improvements to staff, plus equipment and facility upgrades. I especially love the daycare as I take my little ones with me almost daily. The ladies are friendly and my kids love going. I recommend for anyone looking for a judgment free, family friendly gym. :)
