We've been coming here for 2.5 years since my order son was 4 months. Today he leveled up to 4 and heart couldn't be prouder and more thankful for this school. He's under 3 and he is so self sufficient and save in the pool. Of course we are still in there with him but we are just watching him practice and play.

The other day (in March, not quite swim weather) my husband was working on our pool with the cover completely removed. He was followed by our youngest, 20 months old. She was getting equal parts acknowledgement and admonishment to respect the edge of the pool. He was purposely giving her space to explore while he brushed it down. The warnings worked for about 1.5 hours. Then she forgot and fell into the pool. In mid-air, lessons kicked in. She turned and grabbed the side of the pool, yelling and crying when she fell and waited to be retrieved. He quickly got her out and took her clothes off to start warming her up. Her body was soaked from the momentary dip but her entire head and the tops of her shoulders were bone dry. We wonder if swim lessons work, are they really learning how to survive accidental falls into the water? It just looks like they’re playing and enjoying their instructor’s attentions. We got our confirmation in a very controlled setting: Swim lessons are worth it!Hands down, best money we’ve spent on our children’s life skill development. Lana, Jackson and all the instructors are teaching priceless skills especially in an warm climate where pools are more prevalent than less. We’ve been going to Swimkids since our 4yo was 2 months old. Our youngest has been in swim since she was 3 months old. They’ve become an extended family and celebrate our kids milestones with us.

Parents please make sure you get new born/toddler life water survival classes. This is the best place in the valley. If I remember the new born classes start at 6 months or so and that was free. Then survival classes focusing on different life skills. Leveling up and making it fun for the kids. They have taught my daughter so much and she is very comfortable and so are we with her around water. She is literally a little fish now. This place is family owned and run. You’ll probably even have some of family be your instructors. I absolutely can’t recommend this place more. Literally the best.

Swimkids USA is an amazing swim school. The staff is great and treat you like family. Both of our daughters have been attending since before they were a year old. Once your kids pass through the levels of swimming and learn all their strokes, they can be transitioned to the Riptide swim team, which is great also.
