Epic gym. Like lifetime without all the members. Staff has a great deal of knowledge. Dr. Menya is awesome.

Come in. Work out how you want. Not sure of what to do or just starting out? Talk to the trainers and staff to get started. Fair membership fees and great atmosphere. No gimmicks or ridiculous "Lunk Alarm" like Planet Fitness.

Stephen, Leah and staff are the best. This gym has everything one needs for achieving their fitness goals - despite not being 40,000 square feet :)

That is a great gym. Plenty of free weights (db up to 120). Just recently Concept 2 rower was added to the cardio section (I asked and they listen!). Clean restrooms. Oh and very very very nice people (owners , trainers and members).

Fairly clean gym. Extremely nice staff. Terrible hours for anyone that works on the weekend or even late on the weekdays.Gym is not exactly set up in a productive manner. Could use some restructuring, I shouldn't have to walk from one end of the gym to another to swap out the handles on a machine. Limited free weight selection. Tops out at 90lb

A great gym, this is one of the best gyms I have been to. It has all the equipment you can think of: lots of free weights, machines, and cardio equipment like treadmills and elliptical. Its less crowded most of the time. So you can do all the workout you want. The best part is the staff, all of them are super friendly. Stephen knows a lot about different exercises, ask him anything about a particular workout and he will help you! The other trainers are also great, they will answer your questions and concerns enthusiastically. You will feel welcome thereOnly downside i can think of is the price $$, but you will stop worrying about it once you start using the gym.

Lions Gym is an awesome place to work out, get adjusted and get advice. I have been training with Stephen for over four months and have seen a dramatic change in my body composition. They provide the warm personalized service that the large chains cannot. They offer many different classes and everything is customized to your needs. I highly recommend Lions Gym to anyone looking to make positive improvements in their life.

Last August I started doing personal training with Stephen to rehab an injury and it changed my life. I lost 30 lbs with Stephen and Leah's nutrition plans which of course has helped in healing my injury. Now I've been doing online training which is great! I'm out of town for work and I receive weekly workout routines to keep me focused and doing all those abs exercises! On-line can't replace being at the gym with all the action and great equipment. It is amazing what you can do with therabands, set of dumbbells, and an exercise ball. The continued personal connection with the gym has been so reinforcing to keep me moving forward with my training goals. I'm on week 9 and continue losing weight and actually rehabbed a re-injury of my ankle It's another way of staying connected to home, too because I really miss Lion's Gym. Terrific owners and staff.

I began working out with Stephen in 1999, and of all the trainers I've worked with, he's the best. When he built Lions Gym in the past 5 years, he created the ultimate environment for maximizing the workout benefit for the amount of time I spend there.I have learned proper technique and range of motion while being coached in a non-shaming manner. I finally have developed some lasting core strength, and this has paid off for me in greatly increased endurance and stamina, not just while working out or on the dance floor (!) but also driving long distances across the country!I recommend Stephen because of his vast knowledge of anatomy, nutrition, and body-mind-spirit integration which combine in the very best personal training.

If you're tired of the impersonal cramped space of Snap or Anytime and tired of the corporate faceless high rates from Lifetime or YMCA - Lion's Gym is for you. Family owned and operated by some of the nicest folks you'll meet in the twin cities. As a competitive bodybuilder I'm very particular about my gyms and equipment and Lion's doesn't disappoint. In their new location they have updated locker rooms, class room and tons of equipment. They also have talented trainers available if desired; however it's important to note that while I've been a member for six months not once have I been pressured to purchase training sessions; not even a mention. These are not high profit motivated folks, these are people who want long term happy customers and genuinely want to be your friend. This is one of those places that make the community better.
