Reasonably priced, never busy, and plenty of classes to choose from. Only downside is you have to pay for parking.

I work out at the YWCA and it's nice and peaceful it has good staff on board and it's a nice low key work out spot with a swimming pool and all so I like it

We use both the Uptown and Downtown YWCA's and both are great facilities. I go 6 times a week regularly.

I've recently joined and I am already loving my YWCA experience! The membership person signed me up quickly, answered my questions, and took me on a full tour of the facilities. I'm looking forward to my free training sessions and booking a massage next month. This facility is super clean, well run, and very LGBTQ+ inclusive. There's a lot of gyms out there that don't provide for the Trans community, and I have felt very safe and welcome with YWCA. I would encourage anyone looking to join a local gym to go here.

Solid gym, has most of the free weight equipment you could ask for. Pretty nice locker rooms as well and never too crowded

The Y is very careful about masking rules and is vastly underutilized at the moment so if you prefer ready access to workout machines over the excitement (?) of a busy gym this is your place.

Super bad customer service on the part of the membership department. They charge you to cancel your membership even if it was on hold because of injury. They don’t actually respect the 30day cancellation, they will charge you a full month at full membership price whether you can use it or not just to allow you to stop being billed. Definitely not anything they warn you about when you put it on hold in the first place. And you can’t take it off hold unless you go in person between 8-5 on weekdays, according to the front desk. Not on weekends. This place is just awful-And in response to the reply below- you are not able to get off the hold online without coming in to see a membership agent, who is only in monday-friday 8 or 9-5. You do not explain to the member that they cannot cancel off the hold when they make that change and no, you clearly don’t “work with the member” to help accommodate. You just tell them that the contract says you can’t cancel off a hold, too bad. Which the manager did as well. Not to mention after changing your hours to make it harder to even get in and use the club at all. So the club can make their hours and staffing more restrictive at will but if you can’t make it any more, even because of that, you are held to an agreement for services they no longer provide the same way. And contrary to your reply, if either membership or the manager showed any empathy or interest in being flexible to someone who was disabled and almost couldn’t return to activity at all, I wouldn’t be writing this review.

I was a member for 8 years prior to moving in 2021. It is a very well maintained fitness club with a welcoming staff. It’s a large space meaning there are many pieces of cardio and weight equipment, it rarely felt “too” busy due to this. It’s a great gym.
